The problem with filming at a concert is it's all well and good having the memory, but these things end up all over youtube anyway. And when you're filming you have to focus on keeping the camera steady and can't enjoy the moment. I make a point of not taking my phone out of my pocket for the entire concert so that I can rock my hardest from start to finish. It's SO MUCH BETTER, trust me. you should try it. Imagine getting to jump up and down like a lunatic and headbang during this song. Wouldn't that be great?

some songs i recorded and other songs i did not. i really didn't focus too much on the quality of video, instead i paid close attention to how i was living in the moment. the festival and the performances themselves were superb. i recorded songs i like to keep for the long run for myself, no one else. not only did i experience those songs in the moment, but i will cherish them for as long as they will be in my camera roll

let people do what they want. saying that you enjoy the moment less when filming is not true. it's cool to have the crowd's pov too so these types of videos are nice to see and i'm greatful he filmed it
