Ixia is more like a sitting duck due to movement limitations and no resistances during her ultimate state. Therefore, make sure cast your ult when there's all 5 hostile targets at front of you in a safe distance (Works even more effective if all enemies in range getting crowd controlled by your allies). If your targeted enemies just has 4 or below, make sure there's no enemies behind you and avoid stay outside the bushes or you'll end up getting ganked by assassins or tanks (e.g Saber, Natalia and Franco)
Yep. my experience playing her is that if you have tank roamer, stick as close to them as possible. If it healer/support then asked your EXP laner to open some bush for you or be on the lookout. If it was fcking zilong in exp, then just don't show up in the map. Fight only after you saw all 5 enemy (like in turtle/lord fight)

I like heroes like ixia, xav, valir etc. The heroes that are all about calculated setups and engages and positioning nd not much abt immediate reflexes. It allows me to compete with best of the best without having to regularly polish insane reflexes. I play reflex based heroes too but these types of heroes are definitely my zone.
For all her cons she has some decent pros that other goldlaners may not have: 1. Her passive heals allows her to stay in lanes longer. 2. If timed well her S2 can stop a gank and as Elgit said, her S1 can be used to both slow and escape similar to how Clint's s2 works. 3. Her ult works well during a gank initiated by your allies 4. Her lvl 3 kit allows even easier ganks with the CC and Slows to help your jungler. 5. The range is big enough to last hit minions at distances. 6. A great bush checking S1 that gives movement speed upon hitting things hidden in bushes. 7. Her ult with items is a better variation of Claude's ult that can hit upto 6 enemies (Claude only hits 2 enemies, at random)
I think tanks that can slow down movement speed of enemies will help her a lot, i think Lolita is good in this one since she can both protect Ixia and their ultimate both has the same shape and both can use flicker while ulting🤯 but other crowd control tanks is also good, like Hylos, Tigreal, Belerick and Atlas❤
True damage Ixia is also a option Endless battle and thunderbelt. Make sure you have 40% cd reduction on your build so you can spam skills so you can trigger the passive more. So its more on a "Caster type Ixia" . The damage rely on the skills, passive and true damge. I recommend this build when enemy have a high mobility assassin. Its enough to sustain hp and dmg to take down enemies. Or build this when you dont have a tanky hero in your team. This is what i build: Cd boots thunderbelt Endless battle Demon hunter Bod or malefic hunter "That stacking armor thing and give movement speed" i forgot the name sorry Or Build magic resist if enemy mage is a pain in the butt. Also, quick tip in using Ixia ult. Don't use it on 1v1. Use it to clear, defend, push minion waves. Cause its fucking useless Hahaha In maximizing this build you only need to hit and run the enemies. I think Ixia works better as a semi tank utility support kind of hero (similar to Popol and kupa) with CDR build to annoy the enemy formation...All in theory...can't wait to test it out in actual match💯
I use Ixia for the first time so i can say my game play perspective is great but she can actually survive a 1v1 scenario if the enemy is distance from you 😊
My build is: 1.Magic Boots (cd reduction) 2.Corrosion scythe 3.Demon hunter sword 4.Golden staff 5.Blade of Despair 6.Hunter strike I added golden staff cuz for me I recieve abnormal heal due to the sudden increase in atk speed, also hunter strike for mobility, I usually replace this with Rose Gold Meteor for burst damage heroes, even though it's main purpose is to protect you from magic damage, the shield can still protect you from physical damage. If you don't like this build, then don't copy it. :)
Are atk spd items really her best choice? For me, I think her performance would be way better if you build her as a skill caster. I think moonton didn't design her kit with atk spd in mind. I mean look at her basic atk animation. It is still slow when you build atk spd items.
Ixia must b aggressive during the first 5mins of the game in order to build fast. Golden staff can help to have a faster basic attack. I ranked fast because I used this hero
CS+DS+WINDTALKER is a bit better than BoD, sure BoD can deal more damage to squishy but actually it's a big difference against tanky heroes. I tested it out and windtalker+ CS DHS can out dps BoD. Just replace BoD if the enemies don't have that much squishy heroes.. Swift boots, CS DHS, windtalker, winter truncheon, malef roar is the build. You want to buy boots first then sell it before 15s so that you can get 100% gold back then focus buying either steel legplates (against high dmg mm in early) or swift crossbow for extra dmg. Also not mentioned you can use Jungle Creeps and basic attack them to get HP back aswell..Just continuely reset it so it won't die, unless you wanna actually get the exp and gold from the jg (gives less gold than a whole minion wave )

They aren't even similar by 30% Natan's skill 1 deals the full dmg without needing a centre or something His skill 2's only CC is the explosion at the end since it cannot cancel channelling skills whereas Ixi has 2 working CC The ult zoom out is not only owned by Natan either, Layla and Les has it too
Played 2 matches with her. Her damage is ok but the penetration is great. I don't see a point picking her except if there's an enemy tanky hero and karrie is banned/picked by the enemy hero.
As I check all of her skills, I guess Ixia can be the first Marksman that should be played as Mid instead of Gold Lane. Due to the Ult, I wont prefer her to be the one with Priority in farming since she can easily be killed or if not, she will be playing for position and pokes like how Yve is played. Playstyle would be so different from all other Marksmen but is really more like a Mage on that point.
A mage/mid lane are taken by those heroes that clears wave fast (Ixi cant), can CC or Slow at a high power (Ixi has, but the CC is negligible) AND most importantly can easily roam with the tank and jungler

Surprise attacking is a favorite gameplay style of mine, and I don't see myself playing as Ixia for it. I think Ixia is not fit for solo queueing unless I have street-smart ass teammates, who can outmaneuver enemy heroes.

You can use her ultimate to scan if the enemies are hiding on the bushes.

I tested this build, and I recommend using "Tenacity" when there's a lot of Burst heroes.
Tenacity is already a obvious selection against burst heroes when playing mm nowadays.

@@SharkedON not really once you noticed other peoples, If you actually understand Ixia's passive and also i have better build for her to erase squishy target using her combo skills + basic attack only. We don't actually need to press more basic attack If we can burst them
