I love how asta would be by far the strongest protagonist in black clover if he was just able to fully control and handle the power of his anti magic. To think he can use it the way most people use mana(aside from spells) is insane, and the potential of being able to stop any spell without even having to use his sword is far greater than any character, possibly even the wizard king.
This is my ranking according to their power level: _(because this channel dishonored some of these characters)_ *1. Yami* _Reason: He can freaking slay dimensions...and he always surpasses his limits_ *2. Charmy* _Reason: I know, this is controversial...but... She literally has infinite mana in her disposal with her Cotton magic (the mana-rejuvinating food). She can also absorb all of you magic with the Food magic. Asta and Noelle wont be able to beat her easily because before even they beat her, they'd be super exhausted... Asta would not be able to transform to his black form more than twice and Noelle also wont be able to transform to her valkyrie form. They'd lose all their aces first before Charmy loses her magic, and knowing that she has infinite mana and can also suck your mana, well the fight with her would be annoyingly long. This might get changed, Asta could overtake her place, if the anime adapts the Berserker Asta... so look out for that._ *3. Asta* _Reason: It's freaking anti-magic. Everything his sword touches would be nullified. The only reason why he won't beat Charmy is because his black form is limited and multiple times, he'd almost die in every fight he had._ *4. Noelle* _Reason: Well, She's a royalty! Nuff said. But Luck has pretty close fight with her. Luck's resolve could literally overpower Noelle. But Noelle is more calculating than Luck...and her valkyrie form basically messes around with the mana around it, mana present in the environment. Luck can't beat her if he has no full control of his environment._ *5. Luck* _Reason: He's basically a male sociopathic version of Noelle, but with electricity. He still has lot to learn tho... And by "learn", I mean "acquire new magics"_ *6. Nero/Secre* _Reasons: She has sealing magic and she can use that to seal you away via vortex, seal your magic so you can't use it, seal super-deep wounds (she literally has one of the best healing magic in Black Clover)... Not to mention, she's an Arcane mage, a being that could beat a literal demon._ *7.5. Gauche and Zora* _Reasons: Both of them has the advantage when it comes to plans, strategies, tactics, practical use of their respective abilities. Yes, Gauche has a magic tool that multiplies the effect of his magic but Zora could also return and double any attacks. So they're balanced_ *9. Vanessa* _Reasons: She's also strategically skilled, actually more skilled than the remaining. She has more mana than a commoner. Her string magic could be used in multiple effective ways, to contort someone else's body, to control her own move, to trap anybody, to avoid/deflect any attacks. Finally, she has the red string of fate that allows her to activate her plot armor...I mean, alter the outcome of an event in favor of her._ *10. Henry* _Reasons: His recombination magic could be used to create mechs 😂😂 What more could you ask for?_ *11.5. Magna and Gordon* _Reasons: I can't really decide who's more powerful. Magna made up for his lack of mana with his creativity in magic, and he has a lot of experience in field. Whilst, Gordon, in his first fight, isn't actually bad, he's great. He's great at offense magic and those offense magic can be long-range. He's not a burden. And he managed to keep his own regardless of lack of battle exposure._ *13. Finral* _Reasons: Let's be honest, he's not an offense mage. He's more of a support mage for the mean time like Grey._ *14. Grey* _Reasons: She still has long way to go. Once she managed to overcome her insecurity, she'd overpower most of the teammates above her. But for the mean time, she's no. 14. Also the queen can predict the future and she understands that his power is unbeatable.

Well Zora is my fav but the thing about him is that he hasn't showed any atk spells so far. His fighting style is based on traps and those require a lot of mana and time. In a 1v1 he wouldn't have good chances unless he could use his surroundings to his advantage

I do agree that some members of Black Bulls are not that strong it is because their affinities and role as a mage is different. Not all of them are attack mage, some of them are effective support mages and healing mages. Like Finral and Vanessa are the perfect example of the best support mages.

Finral is pretty strong, but he must be paired up with someone to utterly succeed. As he stated many times, his magic doesn't hurt anyone, so it'd be a question of time until he'd get beaten. He needs an Offensive Mage (or Asta) to use his powers fully. I don't know if in the manga he already has any offensive spells, but if he hasn't, then it's more than proven that alone, Finral fits an exclusive support role

Lol, Vanessa deserves that spot. The only good thing about her is her Cat. But that power needs so much magic power which Vanessa lacks, but without charmy, Vanessa cant pull that cat for long. Plus its only for defense. Thats why Magna is higher a bit than her. Fire magic is way superior to Vanessa's threads, and those small attacks dont recruired much magic power so he can exhaust Vanessa. Not to mention Physical and Intellectual abilities, Magna has the edge. Because Vanessa clearly lack those 2 abilities, she always relying on her cat.
The List is quit good, but I would say: Henry>Secre Henry>Gauche Noelle>Luck Secre is powerful, but I can't imagine that her sealing Magic can Seal Henry's giant Megazords, also she can just Seal the Enemies and not defeat them and she has her Limits as we've seen. Her Spells are more defensive than offensive, that's why I would put her under Henry Same goes for Gauche I can't imagine that his Mirrors can win against Henry in Gauches current state. His Elf-Version would definitely win, but Gauche himself is not trained enough and Grey,Gordon and Gauche needed help from Henry to defeat the Eye of the Midnight sun, that's the reason why he is under Henry for me. Noelle is in the Manga and in the Anime stronger than Luck. Anime Explanation: Noelle got her Valkyrie Armor and managed to fight against Fana, who is as strong as Jack, even if Noelle had an advantage bcs of her Water Element. Later on she managed to fight against Gaja with Finral and Mimosa, who was stated to be rly strong, since we know that Gaja fought Julius in the past. The last time we saw Luck fighting was, in the Tournament arc, where he didn't WIN or kept up against somebody rly strong. His Elf-Version managed to keep up against Asta, but the actual Luck is way weaker, bcs he has not that much of his Elf-Powers/Mana. WARNING SPOILERS Even if Luck won against the Random 50% Demon, Noelle is fighting against Vanica ON HER OWN, a Member of the Dark triad, who is most likely one of the 5 Top strongest Characters (stronger than some of the Team Captains) together with her Devil Megicula.

Why is venesa so underrated
Yeah, she can pratically change the destiny, but the fact is that it consume too much mana so its kinda balanced.
She doesn't have any attack spell

Lol, Vanessa deserves that spot. The only good thing about her is her Cat. But that power needs so much magic power which Vanessa lacks, but without charmy, Vanessa cant pull that cat for long. Plus its only for defense. Thats why Magna is higher a bit than her. Fire magic is way superior to Vanessa's threads, and those small attacks dont recruired much magic power so he can exhaust Vanessa. Not to mention Physical and Intellectual abilities, Magna has the edge. Because Vanessa clearly lack those 2 abilities, she always relying on her cat.
The List is quit good, but I would say:
Henry>Secre
Henry>Gauche
Noelle>Luck
Secre is powerful, but I can't imagine that her sealing Magic can Seal Henry's giant Megazords, also she can just Seal the Enemies and not defeat them and she has her Limits as we've seen. Her Spells are more defensive than offensive, that's why I would put her under Henry
Same goes for Gauche I can't imagine that his Mirrors can win against Henry in Gauches current state. His Elf-Version would definitely win, but Gauche himself is not trained enough and Grey,Gordon and Gauche needed help from Henry to defeat the Eye of the Midnight sun, that's the reason why he is under Henry for me.
Noelle is in the Manga and in the Anime stronger than Luck.
Anime Explanation:
Noelle got her Valkyrie Armor and managed to fight against Fana, who is as strong as Jack, even if Noelle had an advantage bcs of her Water Element. Later on she managed to fight against Gaja with Finral and Mimosa, who was stated to be rly strong, since we know that Gaja fought Julius in the past.
The last time we saw Luck fighting was, in the Tournament arc, where he didn't WIN or kept up against somebody rly strong. His Elf-Version managed to keep up against Asta, but the actual Luck is way weaker, bcs he has not that much of his Elf-Powers/Mana.
WARNING SPOILERS
Even if Luck won against the Random 50% Demon, Noelle is fighting against Vanica ON HER OWN, a Member of the Dark triad, who is most likely one of the 5 Top strongest Characters (stronger than some of the Team Captains) together with her Devil Megicula.
