Dave, great trip! Loved the calorie binge at the end. Totally relatable!!! Shaun had a lot of ketchup with his fish, the man knows what he's doing lol. Cheers and looking forward to the next trip. Way to keep up all this hard work, its inspiring.
Thanks David for this very interesting and enjoyable series. I love watching it. Thanks also for showing to me some places that I have not seen before. Thanks for bringing back the memories of the places where I have been and really enjoyed.
Sooo very sad it is over! haha! You two are good tripping companions, both tough as nails! lol Looking forward to the next adventure! Thanks for sharing. :) :)
@@ThePursuitofPassion always a pleasure watching your adventures. So lucky to have such beautiful landscape at your feet. Look forward to the next one.
Hello David, what are you doing having oatmeal for breakfast? Normally you eat a hearty "evening" type meal for brekky. You were fortunate the fish 'n chip store wasn't closed for a maintenance day or suchlike!
Just reviewed the 6 parts of your Grondine trip, Dave. Your expert video narration documents the adventures of two indomitable spirits with a canoe, ready for just about any hardship. The Bad Idea was, of course, going “Through” Philip Edward Island on the way back ... and not Around it. One needs the topo map to appreciate the itinerary and feat more. At the time, the drone might have been more useful in previewing the passage. I’d like to know what video camera you were using.
Appreciate it Murray, thanks! I've been around Philip Edward previously and always wondered if there was another option. Not that my choice was a great one, but I enjoyed the challenge with Shaun. And indeed, definitely something to consider with the drone in the future. But I also enjoy the unknown nature of an unconventional route choice. 😉At the time I believe I was using a Canon 80D and a GoPro Hero 5. Thanks for your comment and watching the series!
70# canoe AND the food barrel with a broken strap!
Whoa you deserved that fish 'n chips!
Spectacular as always.
Thanks again!
We really didn't want to do a double carry! 😄 Plus the fish and chips was calling. Sometimes motivation is all you need! 😉
