Recently picked one in a nearly poorest configuration (g5400t, 4gb ram, no ssd and WiFi but the 2.5’’ caddy in place) for slightly above 50 bucks. Didn’t even have a screw for the upper cover. Planning to upgrade that part after part.

This PC is underrated. Later generations (m70q gen1-2-3) may have newer processors, but lack the pci-e slot. M90qs have both new processors and a pci-e slot but cost twice as much or even more, at least in my country. These 720q-s are an almost perfect balance between price, future-proofness, OS compatibility (you can even install a Mac OS) in a tiny form factor. An incredibly well-built machine.

picked up m720q. quadro gpu runs very hot and throttles at 100c with the top lid on. runs fine with the lid off. dunno if need to mod it with drilling a hole over the gpu fan to get some air in.
strange behavior, normally shouldn’t be 🤕
@@Hardwaremoney looks like its normal, there is like 1mm gap from fan and lid once lid is on. not good enough for these axial type of fans. will mod the case and drill in a hole for air to get in.
