Hi Jason, very nice improvisation, thank you for sharing! It's great to discover your channel and meet virtually from the other side of the world in Australia! Take care John
Praises to our glorious God! Mr. Jason Payne will be one of the most enjoyed organists in heaven as the multitudes sing praise to our magnificent God!!
God's name... be praised!
Praise to The Lord - indeed. Just glorifying to The Almighty. Thank you Jason!
This is an outstandingly thrilling improvisation on this great hymn of the church. BRAVO!! Jason is a true master of the art of improvisation.
As an Organ lover. Its quite an great example of this great instrument at work.
As a church musician who cannot play the organ at all(!) I nonetheless love this. Improvisation on hymn tunes, particularly in a liturgical context (and especially to 'cover the action', is a great skill. Full marks here for this very interesting offering - and yes, there are hints of Copland here!
This is a great improvisation!!! The last bars of the pedal notes where awesome!! Also the chord progressions too!
Fantastic! Thanks for posting.
Excellent ...... very creative and thoroughly enjoyable to listen to ... I only wish it was available in print form ..... Thanks for posting!
What a magnificent instrument!!
Fantastic!!!
As I have said previously it is a great instrument at work with a very capable organist directing its actions..Very well done to improvise the various lines as you have done.
great listening for us all to enjoy, and only wish we could play as well and show our skills too.
Wow! This organ sounds fantastic! The largest Casavant ever built? DANGG!
Great job would love to hear that with a congregation!
I've played on this organ. I live in the metroplex. It is a very large organ. Sounded excellent. Unfortunately, some of the pipes were shipped of to Casavant for repairs.
Very nice !
The Almighty Casavant. Nuff' said.
