It was only today I found out my Sonic VA for this compilation Matonges had passed away recently. I only spoke to him once during our live direction, but I could tell he truly was a kind, passionate and talented guy. So much more of his talent deserved to be shown, and whilst he can't watch this video himself, I hope his talent can be shared through this comp. May he rest in peace💙

@@isaacsartisticdrawings Mario talks in the games. Mostly just catchphrases though. Like "Wahoo" "Lets-a go" and "Okie dokie"

I like that Mario gets angry when Sonic pranks him but when Mario pranks Sonic, Sonic laughs with him
Yeah, this is my ideal version of their dynamic.
Friendly rivals, they definitely don't mind taking potshots at each other and jokes st the other's expense, and are EXTREMELY competitive, but are genuinely great friends at the end of the day, and legitimately care about each other.
Man I fricken love Mario & Sonic's relationship they're like friends make jokes at each other
Also Mario's voice sounds like Charlies Martinet perfect
