- TH-camr Tanner Cook is in the hospital after being shot while filming a prank video at a mall in Virginia. Cook tried pulling a prank on Alan W. Colie, but was met with gunfire. Colie is facing three charges including use of a firearm to commit a felony.

That's why they don't want to tell us what this "prankster" did, the shooting might've been understandable, even justifiable.
Self defense is about equal force. Had to be in mortal danger to defend with lethal force. Just feeling "in danger" by itself is not enough to acquit for shooting someone. You escalate, you lose the defense.

As someone directly pranked in one of his videos, I was hoping they would get arrested, not shot.

So the shooter was just minding his business and likely would have never had any contact with the prankster, and now he's facing charges. Makes perfect sense.
They’ll either try to get him to take a plea, which he should not, or take it to trial where he’ll most definitely be found not guilty. If rittenhouse could seek out and shoot innocent people and walk, and this man, walking around bothering no one is convicted, after being assaulted and harassed, there is no hope for humanity.

Something similar happened right down the road from my house. They said they where making prank videos pretending to rob people using a real butchers knife and well the guy with the knife ended up dead. I live in a red state where you have the right to defend yourself and property and you gotta be crazy to do this depending on what state your in.
