The CPUs' difficulty can't be set in modes like Mission 100. Even with that in mind, I set their difficulty to Very Hard in Duel settings before doing this. That's just how they act in these modes. Stop assuming that I set their difficulty to the easiest setting.
Toriyama put himself into a corner with Ultimate Gohan. If he were to get an easy victory, it would have felt undeserved because of the relative ease to get the form. So instead, he took the win from him entirely. This, of course, making Ultimate Gohan completely useless in the grand scheme of things. The proper way to have done it would be to have Buutenks be equal to Ultimate Gohan in power, instead of stronger, then have him lose when Gotenks defuses. That way, Ultimate Gohan *and* fusion becomes plot essential; though at the cost of Vegito and the final Spirit Bomb vs Kid Buu.

Considering in sheer powerlevel Gotenks was the strongest opponent in this fight and Ultimate Gohan stomps him no problem he really wouldnt need to keep training ^^'
What difficulty are you playing on? The CPU wasn't fighting like they usually do on the hardest difficulty. For example; when you're attacking them from behind they usually do that ki explosion to send you back at the cost of some damage. In team battles they also tend to fight more aggressively as new fighters switch into battle. Yours seemed to be keeping their distance and just powering up to use their ki blast 2s. That seems a bit odd to me.

I loved playing as ultimate gohan in budokai tenkaichi 2, and also loved playing super trunks (the buff one) with all the upgrades so he was more powerful than broly, 2 muscleheads 1v1, was fun. That was long ago, before graohics mattered... the game is still more important than graphics, but lets be honest, games with good grapgics are almost aleways good... i plaied my ps3 and didnt think about anything else, those were the graphics and it was good for me.Now i have seen others things to compare... still was a very fun game, also plaied it in friends house.
