Just got my Tomahawk in the mail today, kinda awkward for me to hold, might have to wrap it up like you did. Hoping it'll be easier to hold once I get bands on it.
@@ChuckinSteel oddly I have found that the asymmetric designs fit me best so far, especially my Fugetaboutit although I am not 100% sold on the binding method or narrow tips I can't fault them after over a month of shooting it.

Just started learning im on the ttf but i kinda want to change it up but i hate slapping my index finger with the bands all day. I know is supposed to be an ammo matching thing but i use bands simple shot designates for 11mm steel and still get it i shoot the scout lt mostly but have the xt and occularis and a cheap metal one with fiber optic from amazon it actually slaps me least but its most uncomfortable to thumb brace. Any advice on less slap ott? I just cant seem to get rid of it.
I look you up and watch. Simpleshot always over power because of the market they are in. You can get the same speeds with no hand slap with the correct setup
@@ChuckinSteelAloha, what’s a good set for a beginner. Shot some in the 60’s and 70’s(66 yrs old now). But man they’ve changed. Want to start out shooting bb’s, marbles for now. If I like it I can move up a level. Thanks for the vid and great shooting. Mahalo
If you're getting into bbs, then it doesn't take much to throw them 350 to 400fps. .4 bands and 10mm straight cut will be plenty or even .5 at 10mm straight cut. I think both would throw the 3/8 marble plenty fast as well. The 1/2 marbles will probably be too slow, but I have never tried, so it could work. It's actually designed to be pinch grip even though it looks like a brace grip slingshot. Yeah, man, ⁶it will hold better for ya with bands on it.
