I understand that Layne spends his days discovering new sounds to make. When he isn't arranging for VP and Pattycake Productions, and sometimes other people too And oh yes he loves to challenge Geoff to go deeper and longer.
Fun facts: they were filming outside the mall PattyCake is in and there was a full dumpster nearby. People started stopping to watch and someone yelled out to ask who they were. Geoff answered Pentatonix. Oh, Cesar and J were singing into the big fans they had set up too. 😂😂
Some people reactors questioned whether Layne could "handle" the drum solo i n this. Most, if not all, Voiceplayas had no doubt.

You don't talk too much! I am 71 and SO enjoy seeing you young people react to songs from my generation ... although Voiceplay isn't from there, the music is. LOVE all the a capella music now!!!

I love your enthusiasm for these guys, and I especially appreciate that you pay attention to what _all_ of them are doing and catch the awesome subtle stuff as well as the in-your-face showy bits that blow everyone away. Your 'knife through butter' comment reminded me that someone borrowed an apt phrase from George R.R. Martin a while back and described Geoff's voice as 'honey poured over thunder.'

I'd dance to this version anytime! Their beats were rocking seriously. Their harmonies were insane. Also - the subtle production techniques making it look like back in the 90's - as in the suggestion of taping disruptions. Thanks for putting this reaction up!

I was waiting for you to get to this one... I feel that it highlights almost EVERY skill Layne has. I imagine that each member of Voiceplay feed on the others energy.
Most of us have no problem with reacter's talking when they provide analysis (like you do). I only get frustrated when they break in to discuss how their socks are riding up or what they ate last night... Things that have NOTHING to do with the video.

You are one of my favorite reactors. This is one of my favorites from VoicePlay! By the way, Layne's dad bought the Pontiac new back in 1972 and loaned it to them for this.
