So excited to see the relief of his face. He’s handled himself so well during the draft with all the dumb questions he gets (and good ones, but those are easy to answer). Great job Mack. Now he gets to skate. I think he’s leaning towards staying. A day at camp and how he felt was probably what he needed to know if he’s ready.
At the draft he was saying "they" in reference to the Sharks, now he's saying "WE". I think the kid is feeling right at home in the Bay in more ways than one!
You are correct. The only downside I’d say is that his presence would make the Sharks more competitive next season. For a proper rebuild we would need to accumulate another top 5 talent, at the least. That being said, having him stay in college might not be best for his overall development. He needs to be on the Sharks next season taking the necessary steps forward. With all the talent coming in next season, hopefully we can become more competitive, without winning too many games. We still have a big hole on the right side D. In the last few years alone the organization has done a tremendous job acquiring talent. Still think another year or two of top 5 picks would be necessary though.

@@kialbonetti1997 I think the best thing for the organization and for Mack is to improve his game the best way possible, and that is going pro over staying in college. Getting another top 5 draft pick would be nice but you still have to play to win and put the best team you can on the ice, which is Grier's job. Even if Mack goes pro they might still get a top 5 or maybe Vegas stinks so bad after their free agent losses that'll result in a top pick also. I think as on organization having Mack go pro will revitalize the fan base and also bring in new fans. They can also get better free agents and speed up the competitive process if they show vast improvement as a team.

Sharks need to land Hensler that would be ideal.
