      I don’t know much about this kid. But I am freakin out. The play where he was faster than Georgia secondary, that is breakaway speed. His frame is more sturdy than ur standard speed dude. He also runs tough. I had achane last year on my bench then cut him before the big game 😢. This dude looks like a real nfl rb, where achane looks too small.
      This dude is a draft and stash

      @@davidoberry5309 Don't forget Chris Brooks,.He's the Power guy.
      We EVERY TYPE of Rb on this squad now : )

    • @justincoard2591
      @justincoard2591 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@matthewmatt5285I don’t know why. But McD just doesn’t seem to like bigger RB’s like Chris Brooks. Brooks showed what he could do early in the season against the Broncos, but unfortunately got injured. But he returned from IR and was activated on game day for the last few games of the year. And, even when our depleted o line couldn’t open holes between the tackles, McD kept trying to either send Achane/Mostert up the middle for no gain. Or tried to get Achane/Mostert to the outside, which defenses were prepared for, after seeing how we couldn’t run the ball between the tackles. McD never once just gave a much more powerful, larger RB in Brooks a single chance to try and run between the tackles. It made zero sense and was frustrating af to watch, KNOWING Brooks was healthy, sitting on the bench, and getting ZERO attempts.
      That right there is why I’m a bit worried about Wright at RB. He’s the same size as Mostert & Achane. And in all the clips you just watched in this vid, notice how the dude never gets touched at the line. He’s just got one big, wide-open hole to run through. Our o line is NOT going to be able to do that. Not with the current projected starters this year, as it stands right now. Only hope is they can find a remaining vet to come in to add to that line. Or maybe get lucky and strike gold with a couple UDFA’s. But, as it stands right now, it looks like Liam is gonna be a STARTER at guard. THAT is a problem. And, for Armstead, we already know he’s gonna miss half the season. So hopefully our 2nd rd OT pick was a good one. And he can shore up the line at LT when Armstead inevitably gets hurt.
      The situation with our o line just sucks. Bc it’s currently in worse shape than last years line. (Lost Connor, and downgraded at center with the undrafted kid from Tennessee, who couldn’t play guard. And they had to move him to center. Which is why the Titans weren’t interested in re-signing him.) And we all saw how bad the offense got when we started losing starters to injuries. And, outside of the LT we took in the draft, and the downgrade we made at center, we also lost Robert Hunt. So that’s my worry. If this line, that’s currently less talented than last years line, falls apart, the whole offense comes grinding to a halt. Shoulda used that 1st rd pick on a guard!! Bc we couldn’t run the ball, and couldn’t pass the ball, once the o line got injured. And they’ve done nothing but made it worse since last year.

    • @matthewmatt5285
      @matthewmatt5285 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@justincoard2591 Brooks was a 7th rd rookie so I think McDaniel was a little hesitant to use him inititially,.
      That said,.. once he did he was having a good yr until the injury : (
      Regardless of the whether we decide to use him or not ,..He's an OPTION and should be even Better,.
      We'll get to see alott of Brooks in the Preseason,. The RB room is just AMAZING when you consider the youth and Potential ; )
      We led the league in Yards per carry last yr util the very end of the season,..
      Our O-line along with the rest of the team (Rb's included) was decimated with injuries.
      You worry too much,..These are GOOD PROBLEMS,.
      WE JUST NEED TO stay Healthy ,.Period~

    Such a tough evaluation due to the gimmick offense. His traits are off the charts. If I'm a team with a comp pick in the back of the 3rd I'd take the gamble on him. He's a guy by year two could explode and ppl think is one of best in the NFL or complete nobody, no in between.

    • @etw4life970
      @etw4life970 หลายเดือนก่อน

      As a Vols fan, I strongly disagree. Although he has similar patience and vision to Kamara, he's more of a one cut homerun style, perfect for zone blocking schemes. He can also be too patient at times and wait too long and ends up running into the pile. His top end speed is much better than Kamara, but Kamara has way better balance, and he's way more shifty and elusive. Kamara is also stronger in his lower body, and that strength and balance allows him to break arm tackles more often than Wright. Wright runs much more upright and doesn't have the lower body flexibility of Kamara, making Wright not really able to cut multiple times on a run. That being said, he will still be used similarly to Kamara as a change of pace RB that can catch the ball. I'm not really sure who a good comparison is for Wright honestly. Maybe Melvin Gordon, even though Wright is way faster, the style is still similar.
      Edit: actually I think Dalvin Cook is a better comparison than Gordon, although again, Wright is faster
