    Like crazies we brought our 1 month old baby son in his blue jays onesie to this game in sound proof head phones. He was passed out till Eddie hit that bomb and his eye balls looked like confused dinner plates! (he has been a Jr Jays fan ever since and loves all the pics/vids!)

      Partly it's because some of the cameras are on some sort of suspension platform that's attached to the side of the bleacher walls. If you look at the Encarnacion walk-off you'll see one of them. It's safe and secure, but damn do we make the building shake when we get moments like that.

      Not all the fans were doing it, just a few numskulls who tried to ruin it for everyone else. Admitedly though, Jays fans were rowdier than even I've ever seen and I'm a Jays fan myself. But considering they hadn't made the postseason for the previous 20+ seasons prior to 2015, guess we just couldn't help but be a little bit more excited than most people expected. ;-)

    • @LexTan
      @LexTan 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      speaking of throwing stuff on the field, one of most fun things that happens is that rare occasion where a player gets 3 home runs in a game, and Canadian baseball fans bring in a bit of the hockey and throw hats on the field in celebration of the baseball "hat trick." Happened twice during the run: Encarnacion in 2015, Donaldson in 2016.
