I’ve actually been looking for an excuse to talk about this, cause it’s a big misconception that drawing nude models is something sexual. Which is 100% false. People tend to tie nudity with sex, which is not true. Models that pose nude or not for art purposes is a 100% professional thing. Nothing about nude models, especially in school situations is sexual, it is purely a professional environment, and nothing more.

As someone who has done nude portraits of others, it is not sexy at all. Friends of mine would grin when they found out and it bothered me. I was more stressed about doing an accurate portrayal of the model than making googly eyes because they're not clothed. One model was worried because I was so overly stressed and thought I was incompetent. Made me cry more than anything. You know how many hours it takes??? How tired the models get depending on the pose????? It gets seriously frustrating. Not as sexy as some people think it is.
