"What you did was impulsive, capricious and melodramatic. But it was also wrong."
Favorite part 😂💀
Does TH-cam have some way to tailor the comments as you’re scrolling because it seems like I’m always hitting these comments right as or just before the part they’re quoting happens!
@@HeyMyLifeIsLibby Prepare to lose your handbag (and child) to an Amish farm.
“Be careful lest you suffer vertigo from the dizzying height of your moral ground” 😁
@@Itsjimmay a personal fav of mine. i had to legit pause the show to laugh for a minute.
Her comic timing, her delivery, impeccable. Such an underrated comedic genius. She better get the Emmy this year
The things she does with her face. She is truly an artist. Look up 'Milk of Amnesia' from her SCTV days - that has me crying from laughter every time.
I wanted to get my boyfriend into schitts creek and moira was the one who draped him in first ep! They chose the right actress there
I think you mean she is comparatively unknown.
I don't think she is underrated. Anyone I've ever met who knows about her has very high opinion of her. She has garnered praise and accolades for her performances over the years from the industry as well. She is very highly regarded as an artist. Nobody, I think, underrates her.
Catherine O’Hara is just a vision, Moira Rose gonna go down as greatest characters of all time
I used to have a horrible fear of Catherine from when I was 5 because of Home Alone. I hated the whole cast. Schits Creek has rebuilt my trust in her. Moria is the legend, the life and the beauty of Catherine. Just fold it in David. I can’t do everything.
“Who put a pec-ture of a ghost on my table?!” - I laughed and laughed at that.
It’s such clever writing. It’s a throwaway comment but also reveals a bit more of her character that she probably never had interest in sonagrams so has no idea what they look like 😂 just brilliant!
“Next step is to fold in the cheese”
“You just fold it in, I don’t know how to be any clearer”
Gets me every time 😂
I always love that David thinks he has to fold up the cheese like a piece of paper.
"David, stop acting like a disgruntled pelican". Kills me every time.
@@MrChibblez I used to make crazy facial expressions at my son. He stopped thinking it was funny when he was 6...
The laughing without smiling at 6:54 reduced me to tears
She barely moves- I thought there was something wrong with the clip! 😂😂😂
I had to watch that scene three times when I first saw that episode to figure out where the laugh was coming from.
“Gossip is the devil’s telephone. Best to just hang up.” Oh my god I love this show so much.
Her East London accent is SPOT ON
WeLl MaKe A pReEtY pEnNy On ThAt OnE... oN tHe BlAcK mArKet We WilL 😂😂😂 i was pmsl
I watched this with my husband who was born and raised in East London and he was like “Is that what Americans think we sound like?!” 😂😂😂 yes, dear!
I was eating cereal when that bit came up and my ipad nearly wore my oat flakes. Absolutely hysterical. 😆😆
"Moira: Be careful John, lest you suffer vertigo from the dizzying heights of your moral ground"
THE BEST
_Where is Bébé's chamber_
Peter Lewis: You must have been very young, very French and very smart.
Her English lady in the car dealership kills me 🤣
The wine commercial will always be iconic
Lol, I was eating the first time I watched her and David try the wines 🤣😂 choked on my food!
Johnny Rose: I’m just hugging our kids...
Moira: Why?
moira being her absolute bébé self
I've never loved so many characters in one single show. Moira is a gift from the gods
So trueee. The family is so unique in their own way. Loved their dynamic the most
One of the few shows with no bad characters. They’re all so lovable and funny in their own way
"This wine is awful! Get me another glass."
This ties with Lucille Bluth's "A vodka tonic... And a piece of toast."
Me, any time I want to not feel my face, and wine is my only option. 😂😂
"David ... what does BURNING smell like" . Moira is the absolute best! Credit to the incredible Levy's writing talents.
Writing is just half the story the impeccable acting is the other
Indeed! Catherine also bring SO much to the table. The accent and wigs were her idea!
Her pronunciation of bébé is iconic
“Moira : I need some tea, Twyla”
“Twyla : Tea?”
“Moira : No thank you”
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@juliamyron7347 i think its a running gag bc its happened under different circumstances with multiple characters
"David don't tell me you've had a nighttime oopsy daisy" 😂😂😂
Part of the beauty of this show is how subtle it is. The others never try to steal the scene but with simple glances just highlight Catherine O'Hara's genius.
Johnny's look of cringe and horror when she uses her east London accent makes it all even funnier
Catherine O'Hara is a treasure. A national treasure. A CANADIAN national treasure 🇨🇦🇨🇦
As I binged through Schitt's Creek I would constantly be laughing out loud at her, then rewatching the scene over and over. I love her in the mirror pracitcing her acting and noticing her reflection, "Oh hello..." Every scene she's in is superb, she's a comic genius. Her dusting the walls kills me.
That's what i do, so the 30 min episodes turn into 45mins because i rewind her scenes a lot. lol
@@vortexrider04 the angry "who the fuck is lucy albion!?", gets me every time
Some seriously give her an emmy ... She totally deserves that. She is the queen.
"I've been calling David and he's not picking up!"
"why don't you call Alexis?"
"there's an idea! Anybody have her number?"
LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL!!!!!
The way she treats Alexis is hilarious! When they went to lunch and she had a list of subjects to talk about 😂😂😂
Finally, Ms. O’Hara won a well-deserved Emmy. She should have won years ago! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Laughing without moving her mouth kills me every time 🤣
One of the first episodes where Johnny notices a leak and says “Moira, the bed is wet! Without hesitation she asks, “is it blood?” And then she says , but I just cried myself to sleep. 🤣
Who's here after she finally received her EMMY
“I know a bit of their language” OMFG too much
I will never get over when she laughs without moving her mouth!
"you gobbled down like 100,000 anti-depressants"
"I was hungry!”- still one of the funniest lines in the entire series for me.
When they talk about how much Catherine added including the wigs and the accent it blows you away shes such a genius.
I can’t get over Moira’s shitty Interflix movie “The Crows Have Eyes 3: The Crowening”... that title alone takes me out 😩😭😂 She’s so awesome. I hope Catherine wins the Emmy!
Honestly it seems to be a not so subtle shade at all the B grade originals that Netflix seems to keep coming up with.
Not gonna lie: I kinda want to see The Crows Have Eyes 3. AND remember Moira was originally supposed to be in The Crows Have Eyes 2 but then it fell through. I've wondered what happened to that. Did they skip the 2nd one? Did someone else star in it? What Happened??!! 🤣😂🤣😂🤣🐦🐦🐦
"Where is bebe's chamber?" 😂😂😂😂
Jocelyn: I'm not a fan of horror movies since an old boyfriend took me to a Michael Myers movie
Moira: Not the Love Guru!
"CrAW-bb-pple" in the wine ad killed me.
I have tried to reproduce her pronunciation of that word; without any success 😂 priceless
Catherine O’hara is a genius..
A little disappointed they didn’t include the “9am, a little early for a character assaSINATION!” line but everything Moira says is iconic to be honest
I love her pronunciations and weird vocabulary, like when she tells Patrick "how serendipitous" when he wants to get her a drink
My fav Moira moment is when she says "I had just had my eyelashes done so everything was cloudy" in response to Alexis accusing her of not answering her when she sent a text saying she was kidnapped or something 😄😄😄
My absolute favorite is when Alexis tells David he’s moiras favorite and Moria says “Alexis, it’s that negative behavior that makes me weary to spend time with you” 😂😂😂
"Gossip is the Devils telephone, best you just hang up!".... 🤣🤣🤣
I keep wondering how long it takes to write Moira’s script. They have to literally look up interesting unique words nobody uses or knows and figure out how to not only create a dialogue with it but make it funny. Genius really!
It's really depressing that people find most of Moira's words unfamiliar,, it's her delivery and accent that make everyday words unique ❤
It was actually Catherine who got a hold of Foyle’s Philavery and enriched her own script.
Or they… have a decent vocabulary and understanding of language.
They looked at my fair skin and my dazzling eyes and said well make pretty penny on that one! On the black market!
She is one of the rare characters that genuinely makes you cry with laughter every single episode, even with just her vocal expressions. What a legend.
For years, the character I always associated Catherine O’Hara with was Kevin’s mom in Home Alone. Then I discovered Schitt’s Creek around 24/25 years old and now for the last 5 or so years, I can’t think of her as anyone but Moira Rose. I just watched Home Alone earlier today and thought to myself “I forgot Moira is in this” 🤣 To me, that’s what a great actor is.
Moira is an ICONIC QUEEN 👑
*looking at a sonogram*
“Who put a picture of a ghost on my desk?”
I cant. Lmao
Saw 3 mins of this, found and watched the entire show in 5 days, and now I am back to watching the rest of the video
“oh no no, she doesn’t like to be man handled” KILLS me
“This wine is AW. Ful...give me another glass.” 🤣🙌🍷

What’s your favorite season?
“Awards.”
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Love how Eugene Levy got his entire real family in the show. This is what family is, and does for each other. I'm sure he enjoys this as it allows him to spend more time with his grown up kids. Definitely Father of the Year!
"Dazzling peach crauueaBapple!" is probably my favorite thing she's ever said.
Can't believe you guys missed the 'David could get me a knife?' scene😂😂😂😂
Brilliant performance, with one of the best accents I've heard. Everyone in this show gave superb performances, especially Alexis. One of the best shows I've seen in a long time, as soon as I'm finnished the series, I'm going to watch it again.
Yes! I loved seeing the growth in each character. I just finished watching the 6th season and plan to rewatch from the beginning.
Alexis' performance was my favorite. Ted and Alexis' trajectory over the show was the most moving plot line in the show, imo. I sobbed.
“The Cafe Tropicale has certainly been described as fine.”
“If you say ‘fold in’, one more time...”
“IT SAYS FOLD IT IN!!!!!”
😂🤣💀
Roland: "This is my room!"
Moira: "Well, what the fuck are you doing in your room??"
Literally takes me out every time.
Moira Rose will go down as one of the most iconic tv characters in history! Catherine O’Hara is a fabulous actress!.
If she doesn't win the Emmy this year, everyone should walk out.
If she doesn't win an Emmy this year it will be an injustice. She's brilliant.
''What's this about?
"I was just hugging my kids."
"Why?"
😂
The way she says Crab apple leaves me in tears every time. "Craaayub apple"
Moira Rose is the "bébé" of all time.
I love this show! And I Love Love Love Moira Rose!!! My Gosh! Catherine O'Hara should win the Emmy!!! Give her the Emmy! Give the show their Emmy.
I never knew that I could simultaneously and alternately laugh and cry. This show is SIMPLY THE BEST indeed.
They forgot the beginning when she was losing everything that was funny and when she said I just finished crying myself to sleep lol
this character definitely got more enjoyable as the show went on
When Moira laughs without moving her mouth!
😂😂😂
Love how she pronounces the last word of each sentence.
I didn’t even notice that she was the mom from Home Alone
No way! I didn’t notice that either 🤯 Now every time I look at Moira, I see Kevin’s mum 😂
Dear lord. Catherine O’Hara has been a comic legend for decades now. Let me blow your mind. She was also the step mother in Beetlejuice.
richyyLR BEEZA DAY! BEEZA DAY! BEEZA DAY-AY-UH-OH. Sunlight comes and me wanna go ho-OH-Ome!?!!!!!!???
I just finishing bingeing this show and Moira was the last of the Roses I "got", but I noticed by the end of the show I couldn't wait to hear how she expressed herself next. Iconic.
I LOVE HER 😭😭So chaotic and graceful, I can only hope I can emulate a glimmer of her radiance🖤
"don't assume, it makes an ass out of both of us" LOLLLLLLLL
“diD soMeOnE sAY fiIinNeE DiIIinNnnNgG?”
The planting peonies scene! That laugh!
And the hugging-kids scene! “wHy?!”
I just discovered this trailer by accident.
Never seen this show before, but after watching this I'm totally sold.
Looks hilarious.
#homealone
It's a god damn treasure. Give it a few episodes. I wasn't sold on it at first but gave it a second chance and fell in love.
Yeah it really is a great programme. You might not like it at first but the programme really develops with great humour and so much heart as well.
it's all on netflix. i envy those who get to watch it for the first time.
@@tomblight2639 the moment alexis said 'david, you get murdered first this time,' i was ALL IN.

This show is amazing and I’m so glad that it’s finally getting the recognition it deserves!
Also, Catherine O’Hara is a goddess and I’m so grateful she has shared her talent with all of us mere peasants.
I've replayed the fake laugh at 6:56 like 8 times, such good voice acting! I love it!
Just give her ALL the acting awards right now, this second. I mean, it is her favorite season. 😂
Fold in the cheese is THE scene. It’s the height of the show. The perfect moment
03:52 "This wine is AW-FUL, get me another glass" 😂😂😂😂
Somehow my favorite got missed ” John, how was I to know you were in peril? You keep everything inside, like a bashful clam."
Just finished SC. Moira is the heart of this show. Catherine O Hara is STUNNING and hilarious
Once I've heared "Oh Danny Boy" sang in this series, I've heared it on almost all the series I've binged watch...
The folding in the cheese scene will always be so funny I laugh everytime
All of us learning Moira's vocabulary to pass the SATs
YES!!!! Lmao

She doesn't bedevil me with her vocabulary.
Hahahaha! I’m thoroughly enthralled by her vocabulary!
