It's funny how Bryan also shames Punk for putting Jungle Boy in a submission. Jungle Boy provoked Punk and Punk delivered the receipts. Also, it's hard to take F4W seriously when the coverage is completely one sided (except from Mike) and Meltzer has admitted to text Tony Khan. I wouldn't be surprised if Bryan texts Khan as well. From a business perspective, Khan is a terrible boss. There appears to be no structure at all. Dear Alvarez, you need to find a new line of work. You and Meltzer having personal friendships with Tony Kahn and The Young Bucks has completely destroyed any credibility you have. If you can listen to Punk talk about what happened and tell his side of things and not see that the guy wanted to make a difference in selling tickets and making money not just for himself but for AEW. The fact that you and Meltzer blame him for everything that happened and not put one ounce of blame toward the Bucks or Tonys way is completely nonsensical. Tony Kahn will shout from the rooftops that he "knows wrestling" and that "If other people knew what he knows that they would still be in business." When in actuality he has no idea how to police a locker room or how to simply talk to the people he is paying money to. I was a big fan of AEW and I dont want them to go away. But I cant support a company or a promoter that is going to play the kliq game and not be able to confront people, its not about being a nice guy its about being a business man.
Why would they walk away from a cash cow. They probably get paid for appearances, and they get their egos stroked. There's no reason for them to change.
Alvarez actually suggests here that everything in AEW was and is fine without Punk.....despite coming on here and talking about all the problems there are over the past months since Punk left.
He also forgets that in the weeks leading into Brawl Out, even he was starting to be more critical of the shows because the top guys were consistently going over their times and others were getting trimmed or cut. That all reflects on Tony. If it happens a few times, it's one thing. If it happens on a weekly basis, the boss needs to step in and put his foot down. If Tony ever did that, it didn't work.
The way he's deliberately misrepresenting Punk's comments about being "a professional" is so ridiculous. He knows what he meant, and how tongue in cheek that comment was. What a clown.
People said that Tony isn't a great boss meaning he isn't good at leadership. He's a nice guy but he is also a pushover, you can be both stern and nice boss but Tony doesn't have the other one on him.

This is so sad. Dave looked beyond pathetic on the original video. Now Alvarez is saying AEW’s decline is because punk had one of a million fights in wrestling history? And then was gone? It’s like some fans you talk to and they don’t realize why aew losing 30 million isn’t good for the business

Also in the past Punk hooked up with a girl that Bryan was sweet on.
Clearly, they do a terrible job at hiding their hate for punk
Holy crap, Bryan has a huge hate boner for Punk. As a fan of pro wrestling, all of the problems that have been going on in AEW and how Tony Khan handles things DOES make it a joke company. Khan sounds like a complete coward. He should have put his foot down many times like a real boss should do, but he instead does absolutely nothing!
In Bryan's mind, Jungle Boy and Hangman did nothing wrong. Wtf? They were unprofessional! That shit would not slide in WWE. No wonder Punk had to do things his way because Khan wasn't doing crap.
He is very afraid to call any shots because he is spineless, and he doesn't make decisions based on what is good for the business (yes, that phrase is cliche now but it's true).

Hangman going into business for himself during that promo would have warranted a physical retaliation in most wrestling locker rooms historically. So yes, Punk was exhibiting patience by not immediately resorting to that. Especially considering he still had to trust Hangman with his body in an upcoming match. You’re trusting that person to cooperate with you. Bryan is in damage control and trying to grasp at straws to frame Punk as a psychotic madman who will start throwing punches immediately. Dave and Bryan cannot be expected to have any impartiality on this whole issue.

Alvarez actually suggests here that everything in AEW was and is fine without Punk.....despite coming on here and talking about all the problems there are over the past months since Punk left.
He can’t admit reality.
Bryan is only proving Punk’s point, and THAT’S what he’s failing to see.
I wonder if Punk's rection when asked if his injury happened in the brawl was him basically saying "well, i can't say" since he did mention he can't say anything about that. Maybe the nda means he can't either confirm or deny any question relating to the brawl.
Exactly what I’m thinking I can’t wait lmaooo
This is so sad. Dave looked beyond pathetic on the original video. Now Alvarez is saying AEW’s decline is because punk had one of a million fights in wrestling history? And then was gone? It’s like some fans you talk to and they don’t realize why aew losing 30 million isn’t good for the business
I can’t be the only one who watches these guys for the comedy at this point…

Punk called a Tony a nice guy. He never said that Tony was an idiot, or even implied that he was. He said Tony doesn't manage his business. That is obvious to anyone with a functioning intellect. The constant drama has continued after Punk left, so saying that Punk was the cause is completely asinine. The fact that Tony has not made changes despite the decline in his business makes it obvious that making money is not the primary objective. If it was, he would be doing something different.
