Completely disagree with number 1. Like you said, there’s many types of Chelsea’s for different occasions, so wear the appropriate pants with the appropriate chelsea. You wouldn’t wear slim dress pants with a chunky work chelsea, but you would want to wear some straight legged jeans with them.
Insane advice. Straight jeans look fantastic with them and so does cuffing. Literally one of the pictures he used in the example photos had both and it looked better than him wearing them. 😂
In Europe we don't cuff jeans. It looks so weird. It just feels wrong to do.
There's a reason why inside jeans is different colour. Lol
Just get those jeans hemmed.
@@arty_lerry7730 you should start pal
Rule no.1 do what makes you feel good
his last point about using shoe trees is the one that actually has merit.
Yeah... so I'm gonna need an explanation as to why you're not supposed to cuff with chelsea-style boots.
“Work chelseas” is like using an escalade suv as a cargo van
Is it because it's slip-on? Cowboy boots are similar to chelsea boots and they're used for ranching.
Just because there is a type of boot doesn't mean that boot can't be changed to be more rugged or more stylish. Most reasonable boot shapes can be made to suit many needs.
Chelsea boots were invented in the UK and have traditionally been widely used as work boots. In all English Commonwealth countries, including Australia and South Africa, they are seen as boots suitable for working in the outback. However, Americans have a very different idea regarding work boots.
*Or simply wear your chelsea boots however the heck you want since it's your life lmao 😅🤣🤣🤣🤣!*
You can’t just say don’t cuff and not explain why - I’m assuming it’s just personal taste
Because it's like common sense. No offense.
In Europe we never cuff jeans. It's just wrong. There's a reason why jeans inside is completely different colour.
At this point You would expect companies to make jeans inside the same colour as outside, if they were intended to be cuffed, right?
Do You have any dress pants or tailored pants which are cuffed, with completely different colour?
No, because that would look extremely bad. Their cuffs are the same colour as the pants.
So anyone who ever cuffs jeans automatically takes -50% style points. Lmao
Just hem Your jeans, aka shorten them. Make them chelsea dedicated jeans. Lol
Adding to my original comment:
If jeans were meant to be cuffed, companies would start manufacturing pre-cuffed jeans, right?
The idea of that already sounds disgusting.
In Europe cuffing jeans means You are either lazy or broke.
As in You were either lazy to bring Your jeans to tailor.
Or too broke to bring Your jeans to tailor.
So not only it has society stigma around it.
But also it just looks bad. Lmao
Like for real. Never cuff jeans.
I thought it was okay at first but after reading your comment I can now understand why it may not be the best choice. I don’t wear slim jeans on a regular basis to begin with so the idea hemming my jeans/pants and making them Chelsea dedicated jeans sounds like a great idea. Thank you for the advice.
This whole idea of having rules regarding boots is just weird. I started watching videos about boots in order to find out which boots to buy and maximize my value to dollar. I prefer a good pair of boots becuase of the military I guess and I want them to last. TH-cam keeps on recommending me this stuff and the more I watch the more I'm getting the idea that the "boot community" if you want to call it that is a bunch of feminine men who are so hung up on fashion and style and wear so many freaking layers.
Just put your boots on, shut up, and go about your day. Jesus christ.
"Do NOT cuff your jeans" - works cited *huffs paint*
@@grouchypseudopod354 Okay. I think you need to read what I wrote. Or not. It doesn't matter to me.
@@No_Lucks_Given I was just providing a counter point. Having rules for how to wear pants is silly.
@@grouchypseudopod354 oh sorry about that. Yes I agree. It's weird to hear grown men talk about that kind of stuff. Hence why I said for them to just shut up and go to work. Haha
Mate, you should follow your own advice
Thanks mah boy😊
Looks good 👍
All my cowboy boots are a size or a size and a half smaller than my regular shoes. Do chelsie boots have this issue too?
Not correct my friend. You should AskOkey!
What’s the reason to not cuff it?
Are those RM Williams I see if so good taste in boots such an Aussie classic
Cuffed looks fine on “work style” chelseas
Baggy jeans Chelsea’s all day for me
Same here!
Yes!!
Have a shot everytime he says Chelsea 😂
As a man, i dont give a shit and wear my boots how i want
Always cuff on your Chelseas.
Yeah not every guy is tall and have skinny legs
At 6ft 5. Can't find jeans long enough cuff.
The next picture he shows after saying don’t cuff with Chelsea boots shows pants that are cuffed. 😂
@@hawghawg381get made to measure
Girls, boys and gays cuff. Omg
Do what you want
#1, buying a chelsea
what leg opening would you recommend for chelsea boot?
bell bottom
This guy is just saying words at this point
#1 was an instant sign of not to listen to this lol
Basically, most boots come with higher uppers, including Chelsea boots. You're meant to cuff your jeans to look good. If you don't want to cuff your jeans, simply wear shoes with lower uppers.
imma wear my shit however df I want
Perhaps say why?...
Do not get skinny jeans ever!
I agree, that is if you're thin and skinny with no body.
He is telling to avoid straight fit and bootcut jeans with Chelsea boots 👀
Or ill just where whatever i want however i want cause i bought it with my money. Thanks for stopping out
There are no mistakes.
Your comment is a mistake
Yes there are. That’s the problem these days. People think they look good in anything cause they feel, “ Screw what people think. Do what makes you happy. “ aaaannnd that’s why you don’t see fashionable guys anymore.
I love what this channel is trying to do with trying to teach men how to dress, but kts really becoming just clickbait. And rule no.2 actually made me real world laugh.
I have worked in spirits most of my life and I love the whiskey tribe channel even though they're similarly ckick baity, but they start every video by saying that the best whiskey is the whiskey you like to drink, the way you like to drink it. I feel like the boot community could learn a thing or two from that perspective.
This is also personal preference. I personally don't like the carrot taper jean look....
These seem like opinions
I completely disagree with #2
I dunno man i think jungle boots are more my style.
If you want work Chelsea boots just get a pair of dealer boots
The biggest mistake is wearing chelsea boots at all.
They're for women.
What difference does it makes? Wear them as you like
Amen!!!!!
Rule 1: Don't apply every rule these youtubers make in your life because half of the time their rules do not make sense.
Do what you want. Lol
need some specific type of pants instead of what you WANT to wear then its wrong
Definitely cuff your skinny jeans with Chelsea’s!!!
Muscular men all pants are tight.
Love how crap this guy looked in the picture of himself 😂😂😂 great advice when you look terrible in them.
nuh uh
Disagree, Selvedge denim looks cool cuffed with Chelsea boots, and 100% always use shoe tree's with all shoes and boots, period
Try to make video in hindi also
Number 1. Avoid Chelsea boots
For real. Hands down, one of the ugliest boots made lol
Lol agree. Way too feminine for me. Real MEN should never wear Chelsea boots. Lol
@@YouCanChangeYourWorldTodayYoure autistic man im sorry
It is extremely stylish and good for minimalistic look, tf u guys on 😂
@@user-pg4ij1vj3x saying something is extremely stylish has to be the worst reason to buy and wear anything as a man. Are you French? Or gay? Or both?
Nah
Meh. Number 1&2 going straight into the bin. Do you even hear yourself when you say don't wear BOOTcut jeans with chelsea BOOTs. The boot in bootcut definitely doesn't mean anything. Also, cuff it if you like it, don't if you don't. Buy cedar shoe trees if you can afford, they're definitely good at moisture control, but if you can't. Plastic is good!
india wale like karooo ❤
Wrong. No more girls jeans. Just stop.
Rule #1 if you are wearing these you're a little fruity
Cuffing is corny looking IMO
Now a days they are speaking all but rubbish in the name of content
Lol this is some 🤡 advice
I atill dont understand the appeal of Chelsea boots. They look so feminine to me
In Mexico when men dress up like cowboys they wear chelsea boots, or as they like to call them "botines." Been the style since I lived there 25 years ago.
Mistake #1 is buying Chelsea boot!!! Snowflakes
Don't mind me. Just coming to the comments section to find all the "experts" explaining why he's wrong 🙄
Anybody that cuffs their pants with a pair of boots has no business wearing boots. And those “boots” on the table there don’t look like a boot. Looks like dress shoes to me.
Yeah but I think unruffled jeans with Chelsea boots looks scruffy as fuck, so I'm chuffing and it isn't a "mistake "
