I'm late to this channel and want to weigh in. I love Chelsea boots. I love their understated appearance. I'm a jeans with a dress shoe kinda guy. I feel more confident when I dress up a casual look. I will say that Chelsea boots, when worn with the right outfit, suit all body types. I'm not tall and argue that slim, well tailored pants can make my silhouette taller. Add a pointed toe boot, the look is not only tied together, but makes a chic statement. I've always contended that a pointed toe shoe/ boot draws your eyes down and creates an illusion of you being taller. I'll take whatever help I can get. I love the sleek look of a slim fitted pant and a nice shoe on a gentleman. I love both a monochromatic look, as well as a contrasting pant/ shoe combo. It tells the world you've put thought into your look. Who doesn't appreciate a well dressed, confident man?

Chelsea boot is not for everyone.It works well with slim guys and slim pants.If u are a heavy guy,be careful with chelsea boots for it might just mess up your proportion but some heavy dudes can pull it.

@@Earley_World Thank you. That color (olive) is arguably the hardest to find of all footwear. Period. Even the used ones go fast! And they’re are pricier, too! Searching via Google image has been helpful, though. I just haven’t found exactly a pair I truly want.

I love yours! I just bought some Thursday Chelsea’s which I ordered a half size smaller than my tennis shoes and were tight at first but after wearing them a cpl days and walking around inside my hose they’ve really loosened up and fit perfectly! Enjoy your boots!!
George, IMO I think your look would have been a tad better with a very dark "chocolate" brown suede or a cognac suede or leather Chelsea Boots rather than the black ones you're wearing with the navy denim, coupled with the fact that you're also wearing a brown/tan belt with black shoes? Just an observation... I also noticed someone below mention the cuffing of the jeans,,, Yeah, I would have also just allowed them to fall flat/straight down with no cuffing. I know you're keeping it 100 with the little trendy touch with the cuffing & all... But this look would be better served just straight clean cut & without the quirks? But each to their own I guess... A dark navy overcoat, mac, or even a navy peacoat may have been better with this look... "And maybe a black belt too?" lol. Please don't get me wrong or come at me with my critique... As I do still think you look super smart casual dapper but I think black leather CB's go better with either black or grey coloured denim. But we do love a Chelsea Boot out here in the UK!!! I've had & still own several pairs by different brands & at different price points but I agree that if you want a decent pair you should be prepared to spend between £100 - £150 which is like $130 - $200 but if your budget can stretch it maybe go a little higher. I mean I bought a pair of YSL Wyatt 30's a few years back & yes they are gorgeous & very well made but do I think they were worth the £600 price tag? I'm gonna have to say a firm no to that! But then hey, it's YSL, what does one expect!!! i actually have to disagree i really like the chelsea boot mostly the suede an comfort but i hate the way the sides look with the elastic band that holds it together. i wear mine with 527 bootcut slim levi’s ,and they look great a lot of people ask me where i got them from lol. if they had some that didn’t have the band on the sides i would buy them on the spot. i think alot of your style ideas are more for city people. small town folks don’t like to wear their pants rolled up they prefer them down over the boot but not dragging of course.
Just experiment and see what works. I agree that fitted works, but too much can start to look a little too fat Mr. Incredible, to my eye. Also, I have some nice wool trousers that are a little more traditionally-cut, that look amazing with some Carlos Santos Chelsea’s. I also have some skinny jeans that stack like crazy, and look absolutely stunning paired with chelseas. Just experiment, you’ll figure it out.
I love the fact I can send mine back to RM Williams in Adelaide and they resole and restore them back to near new condition. I’ve had a pair for over 15 years and they will probably last another 15 or 20 - good investment!

Technically a Chelsea boot can have one piece construction as well, such as with RM Williams and Gaziano and Girling.

Athletic fit jeans usually work for me as someone who refuses to skip leg day lmao. A little looser in the thighs but tapered down the rest of the leg
Buy pants that fit you in the thighs and ass and just get the end tapered it's not expensive and you get the look you want man
