One of my many 11:19 classical love songs "Cold Cold Heart"🎧♥️💛💚I realized this was a recording done Y2010; however, the presentation still does resignates with me. Thanks❣️
Man oh man. This was 14 years ago. That said I don't think Norah has ever looked any more beautiful. I wish there were many more shows like this from all the great performers of our time. No one seems to be making concert dvds any more
And at the end of this consert, my nostalgic feelings are growing, with "Dont know why I didnt come". So regarded as a whole, this consert is wonderful...
Thank you guys so much for posting these amazing shows! Let me ask you, will we ever get Solange Knowles? We don't have any full concert of hers in professional recording. Thankssssss
This is from when Norah was much more adventurous in the creativity department. The past few years she has been stuck in a rut for the most part... one bland piano tune after another. I wish she would return to the Americana genre wholeheartedly.
A little bit disappointed, I thought this would be a recording of something more recent than 2010. Don't get me wrong here, I love Norah Jones, probably one of her biggest fans, and I ABSOLUTELY will watch this and thank you to those who uploaded it, as it's a live concert show that, to my knowledge, has never been put up on this medium. But I hoped this would have been a recording maybe from one of her "Visions" tour shows. Norah's touring right now for that album, but I have a feeling it's a "limited" US only tour... which kinda sucks for the rest of us.
@@TheBigFunky4 And maybe it "shouldn't" be? I suppose that's a whole another thing. I get what your saying. Honestly I'm just hankering for a European tour, been too long since I've seen Norah live, as in person.
@Requiemslove Hello friend, and fellow Norah Jones fan... This video is a product of the North Sea Jazz Festival, and with any luck, she may be back next year. Have you been to her TH-cam channel? You can catch her latest work there, and then, have you been listening to her podcast? It's freaking awesome, started in lockdown. And now she's on tour, has two children to raise and there was this thing called the pandemic, remember? So there hasn't been so much live until now. Hope you listen more and things get better for us all and you get to see her soon. Texas in October, if you can get over.
@@Happy_Biker Well now, I don't know if "fan" is a strong enough word. Yes, I know about her youtube. It's actually the sole reason I got a prime sub, cause I'll be damned if some trashfire advert about shampoo or whatever's going to interfere with me listening to my favourite musician. I also have her official website pinned and favourited, mostly for the podcasts. I've seen her live, twice, but the last time was 15 years ago. I confess my previous comment had some frustration, she's touring but, seemingly no chance of a European tour and I feel that "thing" we all don't want to think about would also make things difficult. On the 23rd July I brought a virtual ticket to the "red rocks" show but that fell apart due to technical issues. Chiefly not being able to install any of the 3 browsers that "work" with the company supplying that function. I'm a console gamer and, well let's just say Xbox don't like Chrome. Neither did my so called smart Samsung TV, couldn't even find the Vevo app... Got to say, I resent Vevo because they should have been more clear about that sort of thing, but I don't resent any of the price of that virtual ticket going to Norah. [even though I didn't get to see the show] I have most of her albums. By that I mean her studio albums. [8 out of 9, I am lacking Begin again alone] I also have her "featuring" album, as well as the less well known Puss N Boot's album, Sister. Haven't got around to her Christmas albums, or her other album with Dobson and Popper, or the other albums she features on without being the actual name of. I also "used" to have "Rome" but something happened to that. [It was stolen from me if I recall] And I probably won't get "Foreverly". While I rate Billy Joe Armstrong quite highly, too much of him in the mix. [I know it's a collaboration album but IMO he dominates the vocal too much, not enough Norah] Anyway, I'm rambling. As I said at the start of this, fan's not quite the word. [very obsessed super fan, probably closer to the mark]
@@Requiemslove Amazing, that's awesome! Sorry to hear of the technical difficulties, that's a bummer. Did you listen to this show? I thought it was great, would've been something to be there. 👍🏼
Really? A bad concert because of some acoustic problems in some songs in a great concert that is offered to you for free? I don't envy the people that have to deal with you on a daily basis
Beautiful woman, beautiful voice. Thanks for posting.
Thank you very much! I love Norah so much ❤️🥰

Lovely consert, still it is "Come away with me" at 28:38 that captures my heart the most.

I'm sleepy now. Her style puts you to sleep. She's talented and a great voice just doesn't work for me. I like the Willie Nelson cover she did.

Weird, disturbing acoustic quirks in first few songs and periodically thereafter = bad concert.
