- Northern California’s Mount Shasta was included in the top five Thursday on a list of 18 U.S. volcanoes classified as having “very high threat” by the U.S. Geological Survey.

I grew up in Redding. I often wondered how an eruption from Shasta would affect that area. It definitely wouldn’t be good.

The EarthMaster Channel went there today to see what the white ash or smoke was about. Check his channel, he is curious about some recent activity there. Don't know if he was able to get a better view or not. yet. This video was 2018 it is 2022. I understand the USGS is watching it but they never really tell us anything because they don't want anyone to worry. People should know the risks though. Just saying. Yes have a bug out bag ready....Anywhere on Mother Earth! 😎

@@Metalsquatch775 Fearmongering based on a "new" 2018 geological survey. My "awareness" would be heightened were there to be series of earthquakes around Mt. Shasta, Lassen, etc. Until then, it's just fearmongering.
