I used to use my scanner to make photos of my traditional pocket knives for posting on a forum back when I did not have a digital camera or a phone worth taking pictures with. Jeeze, the early 2000s are longer ago than I thought. LOL. I even used some leather backing and a few other things to create some pretty nice images with a theme. Thanks for reminding me just what can be done with a basic scanner. I have plenty of photo gear now and even some images going into a juried show. However, I want to create something unique enough to have my own show. Thanks for reminding me of something that can be fun, and artistic, and set the stage for something out of the usual.
