Do you know which bulbs to replace or what type of LED they are? Are they too bright for oncoming traffic? Are people flashing lights at you to turn your high beam off, even when it isn't on... Thanks
Swede365 reported problems with the autodip on the early models: lack of calibration and software issues. Anyone collecting one should verify all is good as soon as they get it home
Mine matrix lights don't seem to turn on curvy roads like my old adaptive LEDs did but still haven't been able to actually see this work correct in any video. But you think yours are ok?
Hey there, great video by the way, how would you rate those adaptive headlights when meeting oncoming traffic ? How responsive it is switching from high to low beam and more importantly once the car in front has passed how long it takes to switch back to high beam. I looking to buy the BMW X1 23i and not the Ix1 but i suppose the headlights are identical. THX
good choice, I'm really happy with mine, even though the Tesla model Y has more range for the same price - interior quality is also very important to me.
So to conclude, are the matrix lights in Bjorns's iX1 not doing the adaptive curve lights job correct? Mine works like his too but I thought this was all I would get despite my old F11 with adaptive LEDs did this in a great way.
While the lights seem to be pretty damn good, I don't like that the high beam is concentrated to the middle part and not the same brightness to the sides.
@@TheSweMusicMan Oh right, they are always brown grey over here and at night they blend too well with the surroundings , I wish they were white, at least they would be seen easily
Interestingly Bjorn states that the ligths don't turn with steering. Mine do in the iX1. That is then because of the lack of the 'adaptive LED lights' package on his version of the iX1, or maybe something's broken? The option to have this is not only the 'high beam assistant' as shown, but also the 'Adaptive headlights'.
It’s a Norwegian wildlife program. Next time try looking for Bigfoot. Watch the Forest horror movie, you’ll never see the woods in the same way again lol.
Reminds me of when I lived in "roadkill country USA"; nothing like having to return a rental car to Hertz within 30 minutes of picking it up at the airport on the basis that there was a deer shaped dent in the front. If you live in these areas you get familiar of where the animals are likely to be, and even back in the UK I have a fear of driving really fast at sunset because that is when the deer come out to die
Thanks for doing the video. The iX1 has turned out to be a great family car with all the comforts included.
Awesome to see the wildlife. Those are pretty good lights for the entry level BMW SAV.
„That was today‘s yoke“ 😂🎉
Caught in the headlights! Nature at night with Bjorn show 😂
M Sport version provides adaptive headlights as part of the standard technology pack.
wow! first time seeing wild bunnies :D

Great stuff! Bjørn when you get the F150 Lightning can you please do the same light test?
Are they going to be available in Norway?

agreed, and Bjorn should too as his don't seem to turn with steering.

You may just have sold me a iX1.

Always Bunny Crushing.
The three bunny amigos...white ones though? We only get the brown , greyish ones in UK in the wild
It's the winter fur. They will be brown/grey in the summer.

I have the highest option but still haven't seen them turn on curvy roads 😢

As good as ID4?. Difficult to improve on ID4. They are perfection.
