  • Thanks for watching and I hope this helped! All products are linked below. Make sure to subscribe for part two on assembly. Drop a comment below if there is something you’d like to see included.
Note: I want to say again when I recorded this, I didn’t intend to make it a YoutTube video. I get asked so frequently to share how I frame so I wanted to release this. Eventually I hope to make a new and improved, higher quality video, but for now, this shows you the steps you need.
Special shout-out to Lizzy of The House of Timber. I actually learned how to do the rabbeting from her IG story highlight on framing.
    Additional tips:
    - If you are struggling to get accurate miters you may need to grab a speed square and check alignment on your saw. This one here works well: amzn.to/3D3zsb5
    - Slow down, and make sure you are holding your board straight.
    - Practice. Like anything It really just takes practice to get the hang of it.
    Products used:
    FeatherPro:

Festool miter saw, which I have since upgraded to. Quality saw = quality miters.

(Prior to that I used a RYOBI for many years, so even if your saw isn’t top notch, this is still doable, I promise!)

I like to use Titebond III but any wood glue should work fine. Glue can be found in store or you can also use code: KENDRA to save 5% on it from Bear Woods Supply.

Kendra, where would one find reclaimed barn siding that you seem to be using for your frames? Love the look of it! TIA!

Some of what I use acquire locally but I’ve actually been using this a lot lately. It’s nice because it’s clean and dry and doesn’t take any of the prep work, haha.
They gave me an affiliate code: Kendra, which saves you 10%.
