Forgot to mention a few weekends ago I was over somewhere mid cities and saw TRE's main facility/shop/barn where they keep all the equipment. Wish I had time to stop and take some pictures but was VERY cool to see all the card parked out there.
I don’t think that will ever happen anytime soon. It seems to me they will find ways to never buy brand new equipment. I never really looked into the politics side of things with the Trinity Railway Express, but I’m sure that the majority of it has to do with budgeting.
