Ezra Miller aside, I just can't get past the very first Flash movie being Flashpoint of all things, and without reverse flash apparently. The Guardians game is so good it makes me Square sold it and their entire Western Division to make up for Avengers. DJ is fun, I hope he comes back for that streaming service talk
All i can think for ideas in the ending is Barry running so fast he utterly shatters reality, forces it to reconnect, then rematerializes in central city, or metropolis or one of the huge cities, helmet or mask come down and its Gunns Flash with all the memories, ready to figure out what the hell is going on. Maybe a news article that leads into some future ideas, no pictures, but like confirmation of whats gonna happen next.
I will find it hilarious if they do kill Ezra’s flash - it’s a double meaning of “we know this character can’t be saved so we’ll end his suffering” and “we know we kept a criminal as our actor but we brutally murdered him and he’s now long gone.”
It seriously wouldn’t surprise me if he didn’t actually create he new timeline, but crossed over into a new universe introducing the multiverse. I think since that you know there’s two Barry’s. It has to be a multiversal story and not a timeline reset.
Other than the Adam west Batman, Michael Keaton Batman was the only other Batman that I thought LIKED being Batman. You can’t tell me in Batman returns that that man doesn’t seem giddy putting that bomb inside that clowns pants or burning a man to death. He was simply in his element
You can see in Michael Keaton's performance how uncomfortable he is as Bruce Wayne, especially when he's around other socialites. I don't want to rehash the tired old argument "Bruce Wayne is the mask Batman wears," but the Keaton character is incomplete when he isn't outwardly being Batman.
What if Sasha Calle becomes Power Girl in Gunns DCU. That way you can have the actual cousin of this new universes Superman and the reality displaced alternate version.

A lot of those people are still on the WB payroll, so they’re not going to actively jeopardize their jobs by going against the higher ups. I don’t think it was some masterpiece, it probably did suck. Just saying “it’s bad” is a weak excuse when you look at some of the other stuff WB has put out.

The most positive thing said was from Deadline saying their sources said “It was not that bad.” The sources aren’t jeopardizing their jobs by staying anonymous where that’s not an issue. A $90 million movie that went over budget with millions more needed to finish post-production is a terrible investment where of course you take the tax write off. Supposedly the original budget was $70 million which if true makes it much worse. It would have been bad on HBO Max and the new plan to make sure movies with $30 million+ budgets are in theaters. Batgirl was in a terrible spot.

I get it's a reboot film, but still, The Flash should be more than a plot contrivance in his first big screen movie. Also, side point, I love how they say this universe has no metahumans. I am wondering if Henry Cavill isn't both everything that is right and everything that is wrong with being a big fan of something. From my understanding he isn't on The Witcher anymore due to the show not being like the short stories/poetry/written version of The Witcher. Perhaps he had similar issues with WB. Maybe he wanted Superman to be a certain way or maybe even turned down the Flashpoint film because he isn't built like the Clark of Flashpoint and WB decided to do Supergirl instead because WB didn't want to cast another Superman (that is thinner than Cavill). I am still holding out for a Kingdom Come Elseworlds movie with Cavill as Superman and Zachary Levi as Captain Marvel (Shazam) or perhaps even The Rock as Black Adam. Maybe have Black Adam in the Magog role or Shazam role.

Cavill is fan of the written version of The Witcher. The makers of the show were getting away from those stories. Due to the show going away from the writings he left.

How I saw the Henry Cavil situation (as somebody who doesn’t know anything just taking a guess) when Flash was being made, the heads wanted to step away from Superman Henry Cavil. How I understood it, DC wanted to go a different path with the failure critic wise for all three movies that feature Superman. It was the reason why they used Suergirl since Supergirl and Batgirl were suppose to be the head characters of DC.
@@Peecamarke sadly the movie was already shot and filmed when most of that tragic stuff happened. I don’t think you’ll see Ezra in anything else for a little while. With that said, there are a lot of talented people who worked on this movie with a lot of good praise for it too!

The Flash has test screened very well where it is said to be great and Batgirl according to multiple sources stinks. A bad movie does more harm than a good movie.
The deal with HC is that he wanted more money than the studio was willing to pay (none of his superman movies peform well) + creative control (witch WB was never gonna give him). Also, he is not a team player (was unwilling to do the shazam cameo).
Marvel sadly has made only lackluster superficial movies the last year. I just came back from the new Ant man movie. Deeply loved the first few phases but they are not even deep or having any steaks anymore. The next avengers movies will basically have ZERO male super hero’s. All have been replaced by their daughters or a female version. BIZARRE. Would love some Star Jammers but sadly they seemingly don’t care about connective tissue other than sloppy universal threats. They need to find better writers and bring comic book writers somehow being more involved. Was really disappointed by Ant man today.
