Here I share with you an introduction to Brusho sharing my tips and techniques on how to create beautiful colourful artwork using this medium by painting simple subjects such as Lavender and white florals.
BRUSHO is a form of transparent watercolour available in an extensive range of exciting colours, supplied in small drums containing dry, crystalline powder. They mix instantly with cold water to produce a painting medium that is renowned. for its versatility and vibrancy.

About Me:
I am an experienced artist and tutor, with a life-long love of painting and drawing and a passion for nurturing those skills in others. I derive immense pleasure from helping others to discover the endless joys (and occasional frustrations) of painting, and to progress, whether they taking their first tentative steps or are seeking to develop their technique and style.
I conduct demonstrations and run workshops (in watercolour) and also tutor painting holidays both abroad and in the UK.

I have a 12 set of Brusho, I've not done a great deal with them, now I have seen your technique with Bleach, I can't wait to get them out again and play. Hi Joanne, I’ve only just found you and of course subscribed almost immediately. I’ve just purchased 24 Brusho kit and absolutely fallen in love with it’s explosive manner! Love it! This afternoon I’ve watched a few of your demos with Brusho but combining with Watercolour techniques. Pen and wash! Wow I loved that blue one with church.

This video is so fun. Ive had my brusho set 2 yrs but tried many times I learned today my spray bottle was too forceful & ruined every attempt. Now I can’t wait to get these vibrant colors on paper. Love your paintings !!!❤

Wow! I use both Brusho and bleach but not together as you've done here. I use a dropper of water/bleach mostly to push back colour in landscapes but your tutorial has given me so much inspiration to apply to any of my work. Thank you!

I've never heard of Brusho before. I have Lindy's Magical Shakers which are the same thing but have very fine mica in the pigment. I believe they now have them without mica. They are marketed for crafters but I've been using them in my watercolors for I think 8 years now & I love them. The black is my favorite too because of all the different colors that come out. I have not seen them used with bleach so I'm definitely going to have to try that. Thank you so much for the video!

You have inspired me to give the brush a go maybe in a different way. I do love watching the results. Sometimes they aren't suitable for my needs but watching this video shows me that you can actually control the results more than I knew.
