Pnina Tornai's designs were often displayed and chosen by clients on Say Yes to the Dress. They were classy, elegant and exciting back then and they clearly still are. What a delight for the eyes.
Pnina always has beautiful designs. She should someday research a type of stunning traditional design known as a "Holoku"( definitely NOT a "MuuMuu" that usually comes to mind when thinking of women's Hawaiian type dresses). Holoku were introduced by the Missionary Wives in the 1800's to promote modesty;(since during the time of early contact with Hawaii, Women wore no tops, it was a big, baggy type dress aka MuuMuu). The Holoku was/is a more fitted off the shoulder/or high neck Satin gown with a train, and puffy sleeves that taper at the elbow. They have gone in & out of style almost to be forgotten except for a company named after one of Hawaii's royal family; "Princess Kaiulani. There, I believe is the last place left where the traditional Hawaiian Holoku can be purchased. Imagine how beautiful a Pnina -designed Holoku would be?🤔😊
All wedding apparel that ALL look like fancy lingerie on your wedding night !! These dresses are gaudy and made for nightwear certainly not a dress for your church day wedding or reception!! Very cheap looking styles !!!
Pina better watch out... if her dresses become any more revealing, brides might start getting married naked, then how could the poor designer make a living?
