I Love Gino Vannelli, I actually had no idea that he is so very gifted as well as talented. He's no just an handsome singer. He is also a songwriters who writes and composes all of his songs and music as well as play almost all of the musical instruments in his band.
Such brilliance. Reworking a 20-year old song in such a refreshing and creative way is the mark of true genius. And thank God Gino has the intestinal fortitude to do it. My jaw is on the floor. Absolutely love this.
I have no problem with this at all. Gino's from Montreal and that gives him licence to go down the jazz route. Oscar Peterson, Maynard Ferguson and Oliver Jones are part of an amazing tradition in that city. Even a casual listen to Gino's stuff tells you that his ideas are deeply rooted in the jazz.

Please lead us to seventies fender rhodes piano and the wonderful funky rockguitar of daryll Sturmer !! I mean the Brother to brother stuff.
