Very smart use of a switch template. I usually just use it for ears that have to switch between the front and back of the head. Might have to try using it like this sometime.

I can't create new joystick. When I hit create a new one, it gonna pop up this message "no properties in your selected layers are ready to be connected to a joystick. each keyframe must be placed one frame apart". I did exactly the instruction: 5 frames origin-right-left-up-down, but it's not working. Can someone explain this to me?

So the "joystick" can be made into any shape or path? And you get a control handle that works like a visual slider that is a helper for image replacement animation?
