Great to see you guys on the road, looking for canyons to rip through and the next taco spot. Great to see more of the FXR's. I've recently dusted off my Sportster that was sitting in the garage way too long and took it to my mechanic for a complete rebuild. You should tell Juan to dust off his XR 1000 and present it to us.
Vanocker canyon and Nemo road would’ve been your saving grace to bypass the construction on 385. Plus it’s a beautiful ride. Highly recommended And the social club above saloon number 10 is a Sturgis tradition for us. Their chislic with the chimichurri is fire and the huckleberry mules!
I'm in NY and as a harley rider a lot of my friends wear half shells, I've always been a modular guy since I started and love it. I have a half shell but barely use it, and even when we ride into CT where there is no helmet law I still keep mine on. Just more comfortable, less wind noise in my ears
Awe man… You guys almost had it on 385. I rode it. Through the very area where you turned off. If you had gone about another mile or so, you would’ve been at Pactola lake where the road was clear, smooth, and no construction. The other road passing rim rock is fun too.
As a native S. Dakotan, I remember Lead/Deadwood as being quiet. Poor, yes, but quiet. I went back to Deadwood decades later, and loud motorcycle noise was constant! No thanks!
