Faraday is my favorite scientist too, he discovered electro-magnetic phenomenon thats underlying principle of today's motor, transformer or generation. So all of data of internet is in hard disk is run by faraday's principles, awesome. But most of all Faraday was humble and declined knighthood and refused patenting, thats the reason I like him.
And Maxwell would not have developed his equations without your work! And without those, we would not have understood that the speed of light is a universal constant! And without that knowledge, Einstein would not have developed his Theories of Relativity! You sir, are my favorite scientist.
If I recall correctly, Davy actually had an assistant beforehand and he had played a part in messing up one of his experiments, Davy was injured and made Faraday his new assistant/scribe replacing the old one.
Has any one noticed; when observing water or any other liquid vibrate but water most specially, ones mood or they way one feels changes depending on the vibration. Be aware of your self next time you observe water's behavior, it is always vibrating, the more visible the vibration to the human eye the more noticeable our feelings become altered…
To take that liquid experiment a little further you can put a non newtonian fluid on the speaker and play it different frequencies and it builds some cool sculptures.
I like this video and the series. Some constructive criticism: This video, and others in the series, starts slowly: the interviewee always says something inane about why they want to talk about the scientist concerned, when any necessary "basic" background info could be overlaid as text. I think it'd be better for them just to jump right in and start talking about the scientist - once the videos get to this stage, they become interesting and even exciting (especially in the case of this one).
great video and talk about Faraday... (but a bite too much use of the word "really" and "realize" - know it difficult when you a "really" liking one subject and want to tell your passion about it)
It bothered me that he said he was afraid we would not do science much longer for the sake of science. I hope that we realize soon that greed is destroying the world, and that learning is the most important thing we can do as a species here.
@FavScientist I would love to see Nicola Tesla. Scientist or engineer, he is still someone i felt like he should be among the great mind in this channel.

What a great scientist!

So my brother walks over to the computer. "Why are you listening to lullabies?"
i love these animations
This music is so soothing :3

Great video, as usual :D
keep making these! They are very interesting
AWESOME VIDEO!!!!!!!!!!!!
Really great video.
I really want to see one about Carl Sagan!
Anyway, I'm loving this series so far. Keep up the good work.
Huge help!
Brady you should start a new channel could slow mo science and link up with TheSlowMoGuys you'd get some absolutely amazing shots!

Did you make the music used in this video? Is there an extended version of it?

The background music sounds a lot like the tune to the Angry Video Game Nerd's theme song...

Please do one on Nikola Tesla
you should also do one on antoine lavoisier
actually, the greedy tinkerer was Edison....
he also discovered benzene in 1825
I will observe. Thank you, Sir.
@FavScientist I would LOVE to learn more about Tycho Brahe, Johannes Kepler or Copernicus!! :D
@FavScientist Could you please tell me where the music in all your video's is from.
Thnx!
Dirac is my favorite.

@SchrodingersPet cool, thanks for watching! more to come soon! any you'd like to see?
@monologyman I wanted to ask for Maxwell too!!!
you should do one on gauss
make one on archimedes !
@SchrodingersPet Awesome name !!
RUTHERFORD!
What has Edison got to do with this conversation? But while at it, yes they were both two sides of the same coin more or less.
so whos better Tesla or this guy
YES!!!
ha! i thought that all scientists are good at maths!
Seconding Tesla and Sagan!
Do one on Dr abdus salam
Awesome!
I SO wanna read his paper on cymatics! It prolly reads like poetry, which is absolutely appropriate!
@FavScientist Hope someone nominates Carl Sagan!
my great x4 uncle is micheal faraday... dont beleive me? check out the everitt family tree
@maxovitsj Carl Sagan!!
@un2mensch @FavScientist or Nikola Tesla :D
we must be related :o
Oh no, he died in aucust.
@neoarcadezr Tesal was not a scientist like Faraday, he was just a greedy tinkerer.
@FavScientist I would love to see Nicola Tesla. Scientist or engineer, he is still someone i felt like he should be among the great mind in this channel.
@FavScientist
I'd like to see one on Nikola Tesla! I find him very interesting....
@ignatei Dont be stupid ;D
