What an extraordinary episode . Sooooooóo important. Interestingly, I had a reiki master, who loved Swami like anything. He used to be in meditation and whenever Swami came for Darshan, heis eyes would open with no external prompting. My master said that whenever Swami came, his "inner "eye" would "see" pink Aura. When he saw that he would open his eyes , for, that aura let him know Swami's arrival, he used to say. This reiki master, always said that one would automatically get charged, but this charge needs to be discharged too. He used to tell that Swami achieved both the charge and discharge happened simultaneously in one stroke... And that is SEVA. The action of Seva charges you and the processof that action discharged the energy intaken , both at the same time. What a master "stroke" by Swami. And yes lyn, it is indeed dangerous to "awaken" the kundalini and when a much much easier way is given in the Kali Yuga, why break our heads over it in those other ways. I feel that most of the time , this ways are resorted to, is because of the desire for name fame and power. That is the real reason, for these practises.
