Elsie Tanner is sent to 'Coventry' by the factory girls (15 and 17 March 1982)

A company has cancelled their order at Mike's factory due to Elsie Tanner's dalliance with Wilf Stockwell. After the factory girls realise this, and Mike has told them they could go on a three-day week, they decide to ignore Elsie and send her to 'Coventry'. The rapport between Pat Phoenix, Lynne Perrie, Liz Dawn, Johnny Briggs and Helene Palmer is fabulous.
What always makes me chuckle is Elsie describing Vera, Ivy and Ida as the Marx Brothers. Fabulously written.
