And the Opening Ceremony was a HUGE disappointment. Am in my 70's and the worst I have seen yet by a long way. And a lot was not suitable for children and had NOTHING to do with the Olympics. Poor effort by France considering the hype the ceremony got before the Olympics. No-one suggested it would be so poor an opening.
The Australian womens relay squad could have won without having a swimmer who got banned for doping. Having them there on the team undermines the credibility of the entire Australian swimming team's stance on doping.
