- I bought this product for a friend of mine. It is my first contact with Magnum product. Viper Pro 8.0 is a model form Magnum military shoe collection. My friend managed to give me a bit of feedback about Viper Pro 8.0 and his customer experience is as fallows. The shoes would get 70/100 from his experience. He told me that this Magnum model is slightly to wide in the plantar area but otherwise they seem to do the job. The missing eyelets are annoying but it seems to be standard in many military boots' types as standard.

I just received communication form the owner, he wants me to get him another pair so he likes it, he just wants to have a spare pair in case the first one is stolen or lost ;) Got it on 20.10.2017.

I wear them for work in the winter as a gardener.
They are good boots that are capable of walking through shallow streams in, but the black coating comes off of them eventually. Last me around 6 months but then they start to ‘deform’ around the tie box. Still comfortable, but lose their looks quickly when used hard every day.👍🏾

It is very light for a leather boot, It's because there is no metal used in the boots. It feels like wearing a basketball shoe.

Do the boots slip on a wet floor??, for example my boots caterpillar in rain is impossible to walk, slip too much. Are these boots the same?

Please let me know what mode of cat shoes do you currently have and what surfaces are they slippery on. So I could give a proper tips to other viewers asking me questions.
And most importantly of all as I said in the video the boots have good traction on slippery surface like polished tiles, but thing are getting worse if it is wet slippery surface. Composite sole needed.
Remember to write the exact model the cat shoes you have.
I find the 8 inch difficult to get on & off. The Classic 6 is a better boot.
