Transfer proteins to the membrane for Western blot analysis

In the second step in the Western blot workflow, proteins in a sample that have been separated by gel electrophoresis are then transferred to a nitrocellulose or PVDF membrane through electroblotting. This can be performed using wet (tank) or semi-dry transfer methods.
