thank u guys for 500 subs!! didnt think people would like my vids so much :sob:. this is by far the biggest project ive had so far, from porting all of the assets to charting and even just making the cover deeefinitely took me longer than i'd like to admit but im glad its finally done. i wasnt expecting to make another video so soon but after playing sonic.exe v2 i just had to, definitely one of my favorite mods. :) (it was actually going to be an undertale related cover but i couldnt think of any ideas that felt satisfying to me which then i came up with this so i hope it still suffices!)

I'm glad that you used the crazy Yuri instead of the normal one.
And replacing Eggman's laughing with her own was really great.
Honestly, the choice of characters for their parts is actually way deeper than I think many take it to be. By this, I mean that the OG mod's characters and the DDLC covers' characters are very similar. Sayori and Tails have super outgoing personalities; Natsuki and Knuckles are both rough around the edges and a bit unfriendly at times, but still have good intentions; Yuri and Robotnik are both bat-crap crazy, to say the least; and Monika and Sonic.exe are basically the ringleaders, if you will, of these troubled people (after they tortured the crap out of them and even killed them, oof).
Also, just wanna point out that at the bottom left corner during Natsuki's part, there's a cupcake just sitting there, while in the other parts, it isn't. Coincidence?

Yeah, Sayoris also the clear no.2 of DDLC while being the first to die.
No matter who your favorite is, Sayoris generally seen as the 2nd poster girl for ddlc.

Sayori/Tails.exe: Depressed and just want others to be happy
Natsuki/Knuckles.exe: Tough on the outside, soft on the inside
Yuri/Robotnik.exe: Both reduced to insanity by the one pulling the strings.
Monika/Sonic.exe: The ones pulling the strings, the ones who are in control, the ones who reduced everyone to lunacy if not death.
This goes hard, i will feel free to hear this 24 hours per day.
They’re personality fits
For example sayori is charming (yes I know she has depression so don’t hate)
Nazuki is kind of hard and badass (I dont swear that much)
Yuri is kind of crazy and loves stuff that cuts (and robotnik has used spikes so it can kind of cut)
Monika know what a code is and can break the forth wall
Badass isn't even a swear
Kinda sucks that they didn't include Natsuki in the cover, but Nazuki's a good replacement

Sayori's havin a blast even though this is meant to be a scary mod, Sayori is clearly best doki. My opinion won't ever change! This cover reminded me how much i adore Sayori's voice, hell everyone was really in character! The sprites, their voices, the way they move, they could cover any song and still feel in character!

You know, I've noticed something.
Monika and X have their own little universe that they have complete control, and they have to kill three characters in their own worlds to achieve their goals: to get to the guy behind the screen...
Heck, it makes sense for Yuri to be Eggman. She's been leaked by Mattpat himself to be a huge piece of "Project Libitina" whatever that is.
I wish this was a playable mod. I love the vocals and the music goes so well.

I think you should incorporate the jumpscares into the song, and replace them with a scene from the game where the respective character is dead. (i.e Sayori hanging, Yuri stabbing herself, Natsuki breaking her neck.)

This is actually better than the recent reskin because it isn't just making the characters basically cosplay the sonic crew.
If I were to offer a suggestion on how to improve, I'd swap the sprites for everyone but Monika with their "Corrupted" versions. I know there's one for Sayori after she hung herself, and Yuri before she stabs herself. I am not sure if Natsuki has one but if she does add that in there. Also swap their voices to the appropriately changed one if they differ.
