Love this mod, the wait was worth it. The remix of "your demise" is incredible, but the death notes were a bit excessive... All I could think was "please don't jump scare me, this isn't epiphany.." Knew he'd pick Natsuki too, the fact that he unconsciously chose Natsuki made it funnier.
Okay, Mike, here's the changes for this HUGE update - The Pixel Prologue Week had a major overhaul, due to the old composer of High School Conflict has gotten messed up controversy and the old stuff feels aged - Most of the Doki girls are reanimated - Pixel BF sprites are remade (sprites by Orbyy, normal ones reused from Vs Impostor V4's Tomongus Week), and GF on some slight additional coloring in her pixel sprites - BF's uniform sprites are also remade; he's actually wearing a proper boys' school uniform - Some ending cutscenes in the non-prologue weeks have been slightly remade, well.. especially for the most of it at the end of Yuri's week - Epiphany has a new background, and so does Monika! - The tracks that haven't got much instrumental change (Poems N' Thorns, Dual Demise, Glitcher (Monika Mix)), have remade vocals! - Most of the menu visuals are revamped - Costumes are here, as a perfect Freeplay-exclusive feature! - MC is finally an opponent to rap against! - Maaaan, you need to play the entirety of Friday Night Fever, it recently got a major overhaul update 2 months ago (The Frenzy Update!) - Epiphany (with Lyrics), is now an additional freeplay difficulty after defeating the normal Epiphany! - Encore Week is here, and it is SOOOOO GOOOOD :D - Side Stories are here; Those are great, too - You had some other mods with you, right? Some costumes have an outside achievable requirement at the best way possible! - It's quite a nice replay for the old stuff, and, oh, you should check out from the Funkin' Crew (the FNF devs) Twitter accounts that there's an official Boyfriend Nendoroid coming very soon! - Oh yeah, Bad Ending is an alternative non-canon take during the events after the Yuri week, and it's still a separate mod (yes, it's still made by the same mod team) - Also, this mod is released before DDLC+, but... the Takeover update is here during the game's said release - I haven't seen the entirety of your commentary, soooo thanks for playing! Dude this is such an _incredibly_ good mod, holy *pepperoni* I love it so much. The intrinsic sense of joy I got from just hearing these songs again was childish, and then that amazing new content? _MM._ And those new pixel sprites are *so* dang cute, gotta give it up for them.
I feel like we have 5 huge, basically perfect mods. Indie Cross, DDTO, Vs SonicEXE, VS Imposter, and Hotline 024. There seems to be a pattern, good mods seem to celebrate something, and celebrate it really, really well. Indie Cross celebrated Indie games, DDTO celebrated DDLC and all it's fan content, as well as celebrating fnf, SonicEXE celebrates all the sonic horror stories, VS Imposter celebrates among us, and Hotline 024 is just a giant love letter to the FNF community and to the internet as a whole, with so many references you could listen to each song 100 times over and still not catch them all. I can't think of any other mods that have reached this level of quality. Maybe Bob and Bosip, but ever since the Amor controversy, sadly the community seems to have completely forgotten about it

This mod is always been amazing but this just made it even better. The songs during the festival are all references of other mods! (edit: the names of the songs and the mods are better explained in the replies of this comment) Yuri’s song is one from a mod based of Sarvante and Ruv (from the midnight masses mod) and their encounter with a creepy woman in a graveyard (as Yuri explained). So sad that the creator of the song Natsuki sings keeps copyright striking it since it truly is a banger but what can you do? That mod was cool too. Involved a DDR playing cat(?). And Sayori’s song was from the FNF Soft mod! (you live-streamed it a while back) It’s from the Girlfriend week (last song I think of that week but it’s been a while so I don’t remember). Monika’s is the only one I don’t remember too well. I think it’s from the Hex mod but I’m probably wrong.

Yuri's song is Taki's song called Crucify. Natsuki's song is Kapi's song called Beathoven. Sayori's song is Girlfriend's (The Soft Mod Girlfriend) song called It's Complicated and Monika's song is Hex's song called Glitcher.
It's definitely from the vs Hex mod, you must be newish to the fnf community, because Hex is pretty ancient, he was one of the first really big mods after Whitty and the Kade Engine, showing off what the Kade engine could do, being super chill and relaxing with great music, and started the trend of chilling with a robot, only to have it get hacked in some way at the end.
IN MY OPINION, DDTO is the best mod, from what I have seen there has been almost no FNF developing team this determined to publish, create and make awesome songs since FNF vs Sonic.exe. The original full release was already perfect enough, heck maybe even the prologue was enough, but yet they made a Bad ending version of the mod which they didn't have to that was amazing, they added hxppythxughts for sayori, the neck snapped natuski, and Yuri with a knife, that ALL had wonderful songs! There was even an unofficial mod that was called DDTO extras! that also had very goods songs and were challenging. Yes, it was not official, but it shows how much of an impact it gave to the community when the original mod came out. And now we have DDTO+, an update that was unexpected but outright perfect. (in my opinion) DDTO+ takes the mod to a WHOLE other level, not just in songs, new weeks, and skins, but also small details, key details, and BIG details. Every character has their charm and personality like in the original game, Yuri saying "Doki-Doki" in the title screen, backgrounds, new icons and animations etc! everything about this update is just building on the foundation that was already working, and made it better! Team TBD is a legendary group of creators and shows it by hours of hard work, songs, details and overall just pure determination to show how much they can truly give to the table.
I knew you would play the new Doki Doki Takeover mod, Bijuu Mike what everyone else been waiting for. Really everything went fabulous. Banger work to the creators, devs and a ton of people who worked hard for this mod after the long wait, i love it a lot and wow it's the coolest masterpiece

hey mike, did you know that epiphany is actually the level of an average fnf song now? this mod is actually considered really easy, lol (edit) epiphany might actually be considered an easy song aswell! probably because it does not have floating notes and "lifesteal" or a spacebar mechanic either!
what the hell is a floating note? But yeah every mod should have the lifesteal BF does, it just makes the song that much more immersive. Although I'd argue Epiphany and Catfight are still pretty damn hard. Not to beat, of course, but to fc. Losing requires missing an insane amount of notes in a row it's crazy.

I'd recommend you to play Obsession or another sing with Markov notes on mirror mode, being able to hit them is satisfyng on another level
