Such a nostalgic trip down memory lane back 10+ years ago in primary school, when I discovered EDM and filled my cheap mp3 player and regular cellphone with bunch of these songs. I still remember recording so many songs via radio on my cellphone back then, because we didn't have internet access yet back then (13+ years ago). I just wished I discovered Knife Party and Pendulum already back then, because Pendulum is definitely my favorite band (at least now at 24 years old).
when i was younger, i was into the skrillex dubstep crazy stuff lol. then i grew out of it and way later i found lots of other EDM like Hardstyle, Drum & bass, trance. DnB is easily my favorite.
My mum produced and dj’d as a hobby but liked hardcore and hard techno, step dad actually dj’d . Late 2000-2014 house was my chillout music because nothing but hard stuff was being played in my house. When commercial house was actually good instead of just catchy, now commercial house is closer to basic trance no love for it in all honesty

People acting as if this is the persons top 200. Anyone into ‘edm’ enough would have had songs that arent popular or genres other than big room house. This list is based on numbers which you cannot argue with. A personal list for me wouldnt work because how do i place a hard techno song or a house song above one of the other when they are completely different.
@@CoGames_ I mean I wouldn't be able to make a list myself, because I listen to different genres, I don't know how I would be able to rank them when they are so different. I also meant that people think edm is trap and dubstep when it started on house, trance and techno.
@@devinchandula4245 That is only a matter of taste, the most hours I listened to a song is probably going to be a Tiesto song or Ferry Corsten Song for me and Tiesto 100% the DJ I listened to the most. Regardless it is not about national pride but about appreciating good music.

I mean just because he came out when EDM was huge all thanks to the pioneers the pushed and popularized this scene but Skrillex will be forgotten in 20 years if he hasnt already. Tiesto, Armin, Oakenfold, Corsten, David Guetta, Daft Punk, Deadmua5, Above&Beyond. I know a few of these artists/producers are trance djs (or were) but most the music chosen was in the last 10 - 15 years when theirs 15+ years being left out that were huge hits, cemented and built the foundation of the EMD scene. Just because it wasn't mainstream back in the day due to limited social networking doesn't mean it wasn't their. Even Robert Miles - Childen should easily be top 50. Theirs a reason why AvB was voted 5 times best Dj and has stayed in the top 5 for over 20 years considering he's a mainly "vocal/progressive trance" producer. sure he'll mix it up at large events but he's trance to the core and has some very solid hits!
Levels and avicci in general overrated. The actual best electronic song ever is Da Funk by Daft Punk--wasn't even on the list. And where is Boris Brejcha?
