It doesn't apply to just Southern small towns. It's ALL small towns. That is not a capital. It's the courthouse in the town where Jason Aldean lives. It's been in a few movies that take place in small towns, including the Hannah Montana movie.
I saw a video from the country, a huge tree had fallen across a two lane road backing up traffic. All of a sudden 3 or 4 men got out of pickup trucks grabbed a saw from the back and started working together to clear the road. True neighbors and they way it should be!
They tried it in small town Kenosha, and grown men got capped by a boy just protecting himself from them. Yeah, go ahead and try it again. They just proved if you do and end up shot, it's justified! Fuck around and find out! Think real hard, because people have had enough. Glad folks like y'all are listening and giving your opinions and creating discussion on this.
Was born in Cleveland and then we moved to an extremely small town close by - maybe 200 people. Every home had weapons, children listened, parents took care of all the children outside playing. We were safe and happy.
Anyone try to come in and hurt someone - they wouldn't make it down the road.
Thing is most of these riots and the j6 thing - were people bussed in to cause the bs you're seeing all over the news and on your phone.
99.9% of conservatives would not participate in these kinds of activities because we love having the right to protect ourselves and our families. If you do research on these mass shootings - it's from the fruit loop people that don't care about anything and want the world to suffer with them. If you watch footage from j6 you can easily tell the difference between the 2. The ones that just walked around taking pictures are the ones sitting in jails while the ones that did the damage are sitting by their phones waiting to see where their next trip is.

All the people (antifa) came into Cleveland and damaged so many mom and pop businesses that they couldn't reopen. They get arrested - someone would bail them out. Still disgusts me today.
My 90 year old mom was outside doing the lawn, which she loves doing, and a neighbor who have never met offered to bring her riding lawn mower and do it. Now this is just a 5ft by 5ft patch of grass, but the neighbor did it for her. Before anyone says anything my mom loves doing yard work and being out in the sun. I am there making sure she takes breaks.

The building in the back is a courthouse in TN. In 1948 a white mob lynching a black man there. But it features in the Hanna Montana movie and I believe it was in a Britney Spears video too. With no protest or remarks.

The building is a courthouse I think in Tennessee where years ago a young black man was lynched, that's why they claim its racist. But it's not at all. He's talking crime and violence in general.

I heard that the lynching happened around 100 years ago. Didn't know that it was for rape and the girl did that to his hand.

99 years ago is when that happened, that is the Columbia Tn courthouse that is his home courthouse, it is just outside of Nashville. I admire him for picking his home county for the video, yeah I live in a small town and if anyone tried the stuff shown in this video, you wouldn't make it out of town without getting a few locals showing you that we respect our friends, neighbors the local sheriff, highway patrol etc all are the neighbors. If you need help someone will be there to help you.

Theres such a difference between living in a city, and a small town.
There are small towns all over this great country...not just in the South.
Most small towns are 20+ miles out from a big city, and the people who live in them are generational. Theres usually a dollar general, grocery store, bank, a few mom and pop shops, feed store, farm co-op, etc...there are only 3 schools. The elementary, middle, and high school, so everyone goes to school together. You literally know almost everyone in town!
You could not pull the stunts that happen in the city because as soon as you try to rob the gas station (your best friends family owns), someone there is gonna smack you down and call the police (your Uncle has been the sheriff for the last 20 years), then...they are gonna call your momma. She will know all about it by the time your cousin (a deputy) drops you off at her house. She is gonna whoop your a** all over the yard for everyone to see, for embarrassing her and dragging the family name through the mud.
After all that, your best friend from 3rd grade stops by to give you more shit for how you treated his sister who was working that day, and whoops up on you again. He then informs you that you are banned from the gas station for life. Since its the ONLY gas station within 50 miles, this means you now have to make a 100 mile round trip for gas. No more quick late night trips (8PM in a small town) for chips and a soda, cigarettes, scratch offs, or a quick meal so you dont have to cook. There are no restuarants around....no delivery or takeout.
Your Pastor calls you out by name on Sunday at church and preaches a sermon on the topic. Your best friends Sister catches up to you after church, and slaps you into next week for scaring the crap out of her and trying to rob her family, then your girlfriend slaps you too..then dumps you because she cant believe you tried to rob her best friend. Next, whatever you do for work is done. Nobody will hire your company or buy from you. Store clerks give you side eye and people wont talk to you, etc...its seriously not worth it in a small town. It takes A LOT to earn back any respect. If they wont tolerate that kind of stuff from one of their own, they are definitely not gonna have it from a stranger. The difference being that they wouldnt treat a stranger as well as they did the local boy. A stranger might not walk away from it so easily (with just a couple a** whoopings) because small townies will look out for their own. If youre a member of the community, no matter skin color...no one will let someone get away with harming you or your property.

The Capital riot was not a riot. It was not violent. It was WRONG and should not have happened and there should be punishment for breaking the law. But it does not compare to any of the video footage seen here.

I just saw this and as a 44 year old woman who lives alone in a country portion of Indiana I gotta say this song is 100% accurate. That shit wouldn't fly in a smaller town ever lol. All rioting is bad. Small towns especially in the midwest and south will shut that down. I live in a very rural area and we don't have a police force so you are on your own to take care of crime until police can come from the next town or the county. You will help neighbors because you know there won't be anyone else coming to help. Cities depend on the police to take care of the problems.

From what I've seen, and I don't live there, a lot of the protesting and riots are often not from residents. I've heard a lot of complaints snout that from citizens. Also, the news made it seem worse than it was in 2020. I found footage of the protests there. It was aHUGE protest spanning square miles. Only that one street had violence and mostly at night. (Again, shown in the online footage)
