Still love this thing! I got excited because I thought it was a new video and I watched the whole thing anyway. Defiantly the biggest inspiration for my build. If my junk makes it to LS Fest in KY I hope to meet you guys. If we can talk tech into letting us go down the strip it would be epic!!! What do you think? -Dane
Damn that's cool. I loved seeing the route in you guys took from the bridge onward was pretty much the same route I take every time I go up there. Can smell the chicken fertilizer even now. Football suspension is something I never would have thought of. What's that clanging noise when you let off the throttle?
What's that strange harmonica tweeting sound on the in-car shots of the tempest? I been thinking my tookus off trying to figure it out. I will scour the earth and not sleep until I find out 😁
What bridge did you all go over? I don't think I've ever been over it also then again I never come from PA also I hate that long straight road boring part after Easton on the way to Trappe
are you ever going to redo the insides of the camper and when i mean redo i mean gut it for weight since i think you guys said almost nothing works in there like the bathroom water, oven so on and so on
@@FuelInjectionSucks im still socked you pluged it into power. also when i was in pa back in October i was like i know im in Lancaster but i really hope i see at least one of the 10 pa auto youtubers i follow lol
@@FuelInjectionSucks in another vid you said 10 to 12mpg?. I have a 73 d24 indian that I'm cutting the rear 4'+ overhang off and then searching for the most fuel efficient engine to swap in. I'm looking at salvage shuttle busses for maybe a diesel although I would love to do a LS turbo similar to your setup, it just depends on reliability and efficiency. I would ultimately like to rent it out, but the turbo ls would make that unfeasible. So maybe a simple mild cam heads 6.0 4L80E with all the cooling? Sending my best
I was hoping you guys would give the semi some spooly boi as you passed him!!
When I saw what was on the trailer, I wasnt so surprised. . . These guys are the future!
That thing sounds great
I hope he has a good transmission cooler lol
Turbo whistle and Steely Dan on the radio, livin the dream!👍🇦🇺
Send that turbo whistle off in a wav file to yourself 😆
Updated the lyrics to 2020 if ya don't mind.

Been watching you tug the throttle cable around the block, LOL! I would love to see you race these!
Yup if it was a cool vid and it pops up again, I usually watch it again!
Nothing wrong with that !
The greatest sounding Winnebago ever.
If you have the captions turned on the turbo whistle noise says [music].....indeed, indeed. LOL!
I do love this thing, I think I need one..

Back when the world was normal in the long ago before the Kung Flu came and turned everything upside down lol!!
My favourite turbo ls build
Next to the postal truck.
That Tempest is nice. I wish you guys would buff it out..
I think these originally came with a 318 Dodge with 2-bbl carburetor
It was a 440 originally.
How many miles are on the Winnebago since the swap???
What's that strange harmonica tweeting sound on the in-car shots of the tempest?
I been thinking my tookus off trying to figure it out.

The front bench seat mounts are broken and that's the seat sliding around as you drive. The more you know.
@@FuelInjectionSucks yes I do.
Thanks 😊

Another update soon?

are you ever going to redo the insides of the camper and when i mean redo i mean gut it for weight since i think you guys said almost nothing works in there like the bathroom water, oven so on and so on
Everything works except maybe the heater and the hot water heater which we are afraid to try.

We drove it like 5,000 miles on Powertour this year and lived out of it for most of the week, no real issues.
Why redo it when its perfect rn?
Pretty Cool!!! Driving a box on wheels!! Probably makin like 3 miles to the gallon!! Hilarious!!
Actually, it's much more economical than with the original Chrysler 440 engine.
yeah but back in the 70's gas milage never mattered
Is that a 2JZ in the tempest?
Yup.
Still Cant believe you guys get to drive that type of shit on the road!
Someday I hope we all drive the same egg looking 2 seater electric cars max speed 25 mph and GPS locators tracked by great leader Biden
love it
Also did you put a muffler on it? It sounds like it
Yeah it has a Hooker Max Flow on it now.
@@FuelInjectionSucks ok cool
You guys rock
Hold up, is this the one that showed up on RCR?
yup
How is the fuel millage for Winnebago?
Like 7mpg
