Spirit of St. Louis. My old man taught me to fly here and I still live here. I still miss Wiess Airport. Used to be my playground. I miss the smell of old cockpits.
What a wonderful video. You guys really know how to put on a proper air show over there still. Things have got rather sanitised over here in the UK since Shoreham. Nice to see some great close passes.
I have only seen Vickers Supermarine Spitfire twice in my life. One was bubble top canopy and I didn't like it, but the second one was just like this, on the Zeltweg annual airpower airshow

0:29 to 0:59 is some of the most glorious-sounding take-off audio I've heard, regardless of aircraft.

That Douglas A-26K looked bad to the bone. with those wing tip tanks and the ordinance under those wings.

I was there, it was quite the show to behold.
What was the 1st Bonner's name?(the one that was before the b-25
A26 Invader
A-26 “special K”
Special Kay from Ft.Worth.
Weren't some Spitfires produced with flat wingtips? Are there any flying nowadays?
Clipped wings, yes a few Spitfires here in the UK have them, including Mk V, XVI and XIV. Gives increased roll rate.
Which is which? Are we seeing a B-26 or both the A-26 and B-26?
There are no airworthy Marauders, this is an A-26 Invader which was redesignated B-26 after the war
@@AndreiTupolev Kermit’s weeks B26 marauder is still airworthy but it hasn’t flown in awhile.
At 3:33 what plane is that?
A-26
