4.18.24 - Idaho Spring Bear Hunt | A Day To Remember

- April 18th, 2024, a day etched in memory for Nick and me. Nick harvested a bear in Idaho, while I faced the news of my Grandpa's passing just an hour before Nick pulled the trigger. Despite turmoil, a higher power seemed to guide us to the bear that appeared out of nowhere.
Thank you for all of the support and we thank you for watching!

Sorry for your loss of your grandpa. Lost both of mine 20+ years ago. Major influencer into who I am today.
Congratulations, awesome bear to boot
Prayers for you and your family. Can say, having a grandfather who I hunted with many years, it is still tough going back out there without him. But you will make him proud every time you step foot in the woods and know he is always watching from above.
Agree, they definitely shape us, wether its through our own dads or directly. Thanks for watching.
Excellent video boys
Thank you for watching. We really appreciate it.
My grandfather was a major influence on my life growing up. Taught me hunting guns and how to be a man. That bear was for your grandpa. May he rest in peace. Im positive he’s proud of you. Congratulations on a great bear. Love what this channel stands for. 👍👍

Appreciate that. I was ready to go home when I found out the news but he definitely had different plans for us.
Dude that hour and a half side by side ride is worth the trip alone!! I bet that is fun as hell!!! So sorry for your loss brother!! I lost my grandpa and grandma in less than a year last year. Absolutely sucks man. But GOD is good, and HE keeps us strong and grateful!!!
That’s funny last weekend we saw one tiny bear and looked at each other and totally agreed that the side x side ride was the highlight of the trip! Ha ha. Thanks for watching appreciate the comment. And yes God is great

No worries, Thanks for watching the whole thing. Means a lot
I saw that green patch when you were set up high and thought man that’s a great spot to see a bear!😂. Looks like it was! Congrats on a great bear.
I love when the green is isolated to just a few spots that time of year. Definitely gives you the hope that something will appear.
Most memorable hunt yet!

Thank you. Appreciate the kind words.
Sorry about your grandpa. I am planning on going next spring bear hunting. In Montana or Idaho. Putting a new rifle and scope together for it. I bought a new Browning rifle. A Xbolt Hells Canyon Speed Long Range 280AI. Having hard time picking a scope out. I want an exposed elevation turret. And a capped windage turret. Going use my free time to practice out to 500 to 600 yds. I want the scope to have zero stop also. Scopes i have been looking at.

Huskemaw 4x16x42mm
Nightforce SHV 5x20x56mm. I dont know about the SHV because it dont have zero stop. Bullets looking to use.
Hornady ELD X 162 gr
Hornady ELD X 175 gr

Any suggestion on scope and bullet? It will be my first bear hunt out of state.
