  • Micro Mobility Systems AG offer 3 models of Kickboards for Adults:
    1) Micro Kickboard Original
    2) Micro Kickboard Original 2.0 (the newest model)
    3) Micro Kickboard Monster
It was hard to choose between the Original and the Monster.
I've chosen not to buy the Kickboard Monster because it's got extra wide wheels (with a high rolling resistance) which are also too small and apparently hard to find replacements for them.
Some buyers of the Monster were unsatisfied with the low speed of this scooter compared to the Original. So I made my choice...
The model in this video is the first in the list above. The Micro Kickboard Original 2.0 model wasn't available in any local store and I couldn't find any review for it either. So I decided to order the first one, based on reviews.
The two "Original" models are pretty similar. The only differences are noted bellow:
    a) Dimension folded: 75x24x17 cm for the Original vs. 77.5x24.5x15.5 cm for the Original 2.0 (their decks have equal length and width).
    b) Weight: 4.2 Kg for the older model vs. 4.6 Kg for the newer model.
    c) Wheels sizes: 120/100 mm for the old model vs. 120 mm (all 3 wheels) for the new model.
Probably the deck is a little higher for the new model which means more effort while riding, but also more speed.
Both of them are the successors of the original Kickboard (which was launched in 1999) and now have that flexible deck made of fiberglass and wood for a smoother ride (it absorbs shocks and vibrations caused by uneven surfaces).
After unboxing the kickboard, I've tested it both with the "Stick" ("Pilot steering", which was already mounted) and with the included "T-Bar" (after replacing the steering pilot). You will see everything in this video.
Since it is my first try of this scooter I don't want to say much, but I hope I will return with further details.
    My first impressions:
The flexible deck is almost useless compared to a kick scooter with double suspension, but is better than nothing.
It is as fast as a regular kick scooter with wheels of the same sizes.
It seems a little harder to ride than a regular kick scooter (my first try, ok?).
It is more unstable than a regular kick scooter and it's much harder to turn this kickboard than a regular kick scooter (most reviews say that it's easier - probably I need more training with this scooter).
I don't understand why I would use the "Stick" since the "T-Bar" can be used the same way as the stick (with a hand in the middle of the T-Bar). Using the T-Bar is more comfortable, but it doesn't offer much more stability (it is not a kick scooter!). Later note: After making this video I could ride it without keeping any hand on the T-Bar.
This scooter doesn't need a kickstand since it's got three wheels. (You don't even have to dismount this scooter after you stop).
It's pretty easy to fold and unfold this scooter compared to most scooters.
It's damn noisy (I didn't expect that from Micro).
If you like skateboarding (longboarding) and scootering, probably you will like this kickboard. But if you really like skateboarding (longboarding) and riding kick scooters (doing tricks), you will hate it. If you are too old for skateboarding and miss gold old days, then you may fall in love with it.
