At 39:40 you mention Amos' question concerning sacrifice and offerings. What you fail to mention is what is stated in Nu 15:2 and 18 which clearly states that these ceremonies were to be done when they came into the land, not then and there in the wilderness. I am surprised you could overlook this. Amos is correct, they did not do these things in the wilderness, the idea of them not doing circumcision in the wilderness also alludes to this.

Do you think Amos is saying that Israel did or did not sacrifice during the forty years in the wilderness, per the texts of the Pentateuch? And what is your point about circumcision?
