Great ride and well done for getting off and doing a recce. For me you probably need more focused tyres to do wet stony lanes on an adventure bike. Excellent vid and great to see a bit of winter action. Beats going to the gym for a workout eh?
Thanks for watching 👍 im thinking the opposite these tyres are way better on wet stone than more focused trust me i know all to well it was the deep loose stuff on the way up i was struggling for traction but thats just the challenge of riding a 200kg bike ay 👍
Hello, how many liters does your tank fit? My Tuareg 660 model 2022 doesn't fit more than 15.6 liters. I ran the tank completely empty and then filled it up.
Hey man. Great riding as usual. How is your stock kickstand holding up in those rocks so far? Have you broken the bolt yet or done any mods to shorten it? I have a lot of rocks where I ride and I’ve seen quite a few people snap that factory spring bolt off so it has me worried.
Hey mate cheers 👍 not had any problems with mine atm all standard i just made a new bush and spacers to limit the play in the side stand as it was making contact with the swing arm otherwise all good its very rocky around my way also 👍
@@robertrobert5243 hi mate thanks for watching 👍 im 5'7" and fully geared up about 80kg on standard suspension ive played about with the settings a fair bit to soften it up for off road to soak up the bumps a bit better 👍
I wonder how noticeable the lower centre of gravity is compared to my Tenere ... I hate that I cannot hold the bike if I stall in slow section - once she leans over she GOES DOWN !! and I'm no skinny lad :-)
From what I've heard it is really noticeable but ive not personally experienced it i think i find it easier to keep it upright on rough sections is being able to plant my feet down in time before i get past the pivot point of goin over. It never hurts to do slow technical skills practice and clutch control if you have a chance 👍
@zhumango4728 what ecu remap do you mean out of interest 🤔 ive not done anything to the electrics only put a foam fillter and a silencer on it after this video tho it was completely standard on this one
All about getting the suspension set up right for what your riding I've soften mine right off so it smooths the bumps out as best as possible. Well it seems to work for me anyway 👍 thanks for watching
is there an off the shelf protection for that? with my luck im probably gonna break that on the first fall and be stuck on some mountain :( @@ads_rides
Nice pace over the baby head rocks. Makes it easier and is truly mind over matter. Well done. The Touareg has wonderful stock suspenders.
Phew, that some serious trial stuff on these rocks, got sweaty palms just from watching :D love how Tuareg performs. Good riding mate!!
@vojtamracek937 yea a great route this one very challenging in places 👌 thanks for watching 👍 the bike handles the rough stuff very well 👌

It's got a 18l tank. 15l and 3l reserve ive not run mine empty but definitely put over 15l in mine

Hello, what is your weight and how tall are you? Is the suspension in your Tuareg standard or optional? Greetings from Poland
@@robertrobert5243 hi mate thanks for watching 👍 im 5'7" and fully geared up about 80kg on standard suspension ive played about with the settings a fair bit to soften it up for off road to soak up the bumps a bit better 👍
What’s the route called ? Is it legally open to motorcycle use ?
For the most of it its using the tet from Dolgellau to corwen all legal trails

What crash bars and skid plate are u using?
Motea crash bars and axp skid plate
Have you done the ECU remap?

@@ads_rides Thanks, it seems that stock tuareg does a very great job on off road trip.
Hello, what tire are you currently running?
Anlas capra x 👍
Bike seems to handle the rocks really well! Id have gotten beaten to death on my little 250 😁
All about getting the suspension set up right for what your riding I've soften mine right off so it smooths the bumps out as best as possible. Well it seems to work for me anyway 👍 thanks for watching
GREAT AMIGO
Thank you mate 👍
so what did you break on the tuareg so far?
Not much really only the side stand switch must of got clipped by a rock
is there an off the shelf protection for that?
with my luck im probably gonna break that on the first fall and be stuck on some mountain :(
@@ads_rides
@SaarGrin my best advice is to get the bypass straight away and remove the switch as it is well protected anyway if your goin off roading of course
What are your tyre pressures?
20psi in the front and 25psi in the rear
@@ads_rides dont you ever get dents with that preassure in the front rim?
Ive not had any problems so far these tyres do have very stif side walls though so maybe not get away with it with other tyre brands
What tyres are you using
@darrenwindle3592 anlas capra x
So you get to a life threatening fallen tree and choose to do nothing about it for those that ride after you. Truly impressive.
I will give you the location if you want to go sort it out?so what do you suppose people do with no tools to chop tree's down then?
Tree’s just sat there minding its own business. Not threatening anyones life. 🤷♂️
Woke !
It's called safety. And fixing that limb is easy. Other than that it, looks like a great ride! @Kelly-oq9nh but nice trolling.
What a plonker is that all you have to add to this clip... nothing about his impressive riding and the superb terrain
crap bike
