    I also had a 1979 z28 camaro, I put in a 500 hp back in the 80s was unheard of, fastest car on the road at the time. Too bad I sold it was a gas guzzler, would not survive this day and age consider the gas is high prices

    Great memories, had a 79 z28 4 speed dark brown with the gold stripes, used to cruise down state street in Fremont Ohio at night in the seventies, how i miss those days!

    Theses care are going up in price fast , when I was a kid a you could buy a 69 camaro for 5000 back in the 80s now they are in the 50000 to 100000 , grab them now ...

    I drove this car in about 1980. A friend had me drive it down a flat country road about a mile. One of the first fuel injected cars. All I can say is "it is fast"

      @@vanguardmotorsales I'm sure sold by now? I bought a new black with gold striping Z28 in 1979 when I was 19. Black interior and also put on Crager mags and BF Goodrich Radial T/As. 42 years old now and still in my garage. All original other than the wheels and tires. 18,423 miles on it and it has never seen rain even once. I would love to see this one but I'm sure it has been snatched up by now. I would love to have it parked beside mine.

    These were not well made and certainly not built to last any length of time. They did sell a ton of these though back in the day. Notice how you never see one of them still on the road ?
