The best song from one of the top albums of the early 70s. I’m convinced my son is partly responsible for getting Alice to resurrect this song. He knew Ryan Roxie and pushed him to get Alice to play this.
Halo is a “killer” tune! Number 1 in my Cooper count down for best hard rock song they did. And of course the Alice Cooper band also holds another number 1 in my book for the most perfect rock and roll tune of all time. Schools Out! The riff the theme the lyrics it’s got it all!
@@brianrobison5871 Anymore there's a lot of people who don't know that it was once "Alice Cooper" the band, not "Alice Cooper" the man. Which makes sense since the vast majority of Alice Cooper has been the solo career. The writing and style of music/playing definitely changed once he went solo. It seems it was much more "jam session" -ish when it was the band and those songs. Michael Bruce is actually who wrote many of the hits from the original band.

Yep. When he does his solo, those lights are programmed so he has to be spot on in order to make them appear synced with his playing. He's very good and of course flashy which they all have to be in order to be on stage with Alice.

The Alice Cooper band is so underatted. Alice is awesome but his legacy has kind of overshadowed the band.

@@waitpu4817 when did I write he wasn’t really apart of the band? Of course he was. He was the lead singer! Derp!
I love this song and his hat. Alice Cooper is a great showman on stage. Everything he has done on stage, that nobody can do.
I'm from Detroit Alice is probably ready for the rocking chair seen him 12 times but he has allways had the best band omg
I was at this gig also...probably 30+ yrs since i last saw him live...never fails to deliver...genius/madman...luv him to death...
I'll NEVER tire of listening to this track.

We are the four guitar horsemen of the rock apocalypse! Flee before our sonic onslaught or be consigned to oblivion!
