wow, this is one of the clearest breakdowns I've seen of the Kinvaras! I've been trying to switch to a lower drop, "no frills" neutral shoe for my shorter road runs at the advice of my running physio after a form analysis. I'm quite enjoying the 13s, they're definitely highlighting some calf strength deficiencies I need to work on (after years of road miles in high-drop Brooks Ghosts) but I really like how light and snappy they feel, and that I can actually feel the ground beneath me - every company seems obsessed with cushion and stack height nowadays... i kept reading online that the kinvara 14s were somewhat unpopular so it's good to see version 15 is a winner. anyway great vid and good suggestion from the algorithm, you got a new subscriber!
They are on sale where I live. Hard to pick the right color. Saucony's fit me the best also. Better than any other brand. I might get this show for some tempo track runs runs.
The insole is 2mm lower, so while the K14 is 31mm/27mm, the K15s are 29/25. Both insoles are still reportedly TPU-based, but the K14s is called out as a PWRRUN+ sockliner, and the K15s as "SRS". Haven't picked up the 15s yet, but I hope I like them more than the 14.
I think yours is the first real-world review of the 15 on YT. :) Anyway, I've been running in Kinvaras since the 9th version. Currently, I have the 13 but I'm concerned about the 14 because most of the reviews I've read or seen say that they are too narrow. Now eyeing the 15 but woukd like to ask- how does its fit compare to the 13?

Subscribed! Great review. Your channel will grow quickly. Informative and entertaining style. Keep up the good work and good luck from London, UK!
Great review! I'm a Kinvara fan myself and favorite I think for me is the 8 or 9 (can't remember). It's just a great all around shoe.

If you buy the 14 a half size up you should be ok. I usually run in an 11.5 Bought the K14 in a 12 & had zero fit issues..
What do run ultra trail run in?
